Improving the quality of care for men with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA) who undergo regular screening: reducing the psychosocial consequences of screening and developing a patient-centred Exit Strategy from surveillance

An abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a bulge in the body's main blood vessel. In the UK, men with small or medium aneurysms have regular ultrasound checks. This study explores the worry and emotional stress this monitoring can cause, aiming to design better psychological support and guidance for patients and their partners.
