Non-operative treatment of children with appendicitis vs appendectomy
Appendicitis is a painful swelling of the appendix, usually treated with an operation. This UK study is exploring whether treating children aged 4 to 15 with antibiotics works just as well as surgery. The goal is to see if children can safely recover without needing an emergency operation.

Intravenous Ketorolac Vs. Morphine In Children With Acute Abdominal Pain
This study compares two pain medicines, ketorolac and morphine, for children aged 6-17 with belly pain from possible appendicitis. We want to see if ketorolac works just as well as morphine, but with fewer side effects. Both medicines are given through a drip in the arm.
