Ablation of Focal Activation in Atrial Fibrillation
This study investigates if a new mapping technique, RETRO-Mapping, can accurately find specific electrical 'drivers' of persistent atrial fibrillation (AF). We aim to see if treating these drivers, in addition to standard treatment, improves outcomes for people living with persistent AF.

Convergent Ablation Plus Left Atrial Appendage Isolation for the Treatment of Persistent Atrial Fibrillation
This study compares a new heart procedure with standard treatment for a type of irregular heartbeat called persistent atrial fibrillation. The new procedure combines two methods to help improve heart rhythm and reduce complications like stroke. We want to see if it works better and is safe.

Hybrid Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation in Heart Failure
This study looks at a new way to treat persistent atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat) in people who also have heart failure. It compares a combined treatment (hybrid ablation) with the usual treatment to see which works best at keeping a steady heart rhythm.

Atrial Fibrillation Ablation Versus Atrioventricular Nodal Ablation with Conduction System Pacing in Heart Failure
This study compares two treatments for people with long-term atrial fibrillation and heart failure: one uses a pacemaker and a procedure to block faulty signals, the other uses a procedure to reset the heart's rhythm. It aims to see which is better at improving health.

First-line Cryoablation for Early Treatment of Persistent Atrial Fibrillation
This study compares early cryoballoon ablation (a keyhole procedure) with anti-arrhythmic drugs for people with persistent atrial fibrillation. It looks at which treatment best keeps a normal heart rhythm and improves quality of life over three years.

Atrioventricular Node Ablation and Conduction System Pacing in Patients With Well Controlled Permanent Atrial Fibrillation (AF), Heart Failure and Preserved Ejection Fraction: Heart Rate Regularization Versus Medical Rate Control
This study looks at a new way to treat people with permanent atrial fibrillation and a type of heart failure called HFpEF. It compares a procedure called AV node ablation with a pacemaker to standard medication, aiming to see if it reduces serious heart-related events.
