Enteral Feeding of Fibre to Improve Microbiota
This study looks at whether giving people fibre through a feeding tube can improve the 'good' gut bacteria in their bowel before an operation. After some bowel surgery, a temporary stoma is made. We want to see if this fibre can help prevent problems when the bowel is reconnected.
