Cognitive effects of ketamine on healthy volunteers research hub

Reward emotion learning and ketamine study

This Oxford University study explores how ketamine affects learning and memory in healthy volunteers. Ketamine can improve depression quickly, but scientists need to know how it changes brain activity. Participants will complete computer tasks, receive a single dose of ketamine or a dummy treatment, and have a brain scan.
