Evaluating a mastery approach to teaching English in Key Stage 3

This UK study tests whether a programme called English Mastery helps Key Stage 3 pupils improve their reading and writing. Whole secondary schools join the programme. Teachers receive extra training, lesson plans, and coaching, while pupils take part during their regular school English lessons without needing extra classes.
