Oesophagectomy and Chest Wall and Respiratory Function
This study looks at how removing a part of the food pipe (oesophagectomy) for cancer affects breathing and chest movement. It aims to find better ways to measure chest movement and breathing capacity using new technologies, which could lead to improved physiotherapy after surgery.

Metachronic Brain Metastases After Esophagectomy for Esophageal Cancer (METABREC)
This study, called METABREC, looks back at medical records of people who had surgery for gullet cancer. It aims to understand how often cancer spreads to the brain after surgery and what might increase this risk.
