This study aims to improve how medication for pain and relaxation (sedation) is given to very ill patients on life support (ECMO). We want to create a new guide based on patient, family, and staff experiences to help these patients recover better.

Prevalence and Measurement of Delayed Gastric Emptying in Patients Receiving Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation
This study looks at how quickly food leaves the stomach in very sick patients, especially those on a life support machine called ECMO. It also aims to find the best and easiest ways to check stomach emptying at the bedside, to make sure patients get enough nutrition.
