Evaluation of Rifaximin SSD for Delaying Encephalopathy Decompensation in Patients With Cirrhosis
This study is testing a new medicine, Rifaximin SSD, to see if it can delay serious liver problems called Hepatic Encephalopathy in people with liver scarring (cirrhosis). It's comparing the new medicine to a dummy pill to see which works better and if it's safe.
