Acyclovir in Ventilated Patients With Pneumonia and HSV-1 in BAL
This study is testing if an antiviral medicine, acyclovir, helps seriously ill patients in intensive care with pneumonia and the herpes simplex virus (which causes cold sores). We want to find out if treating this virus improves their chances of recovery.

A Phase I/II, observer-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled, multi-country study to evaluate reactogenicity, safety, immune response, and efficacy of an HSV-targeted immunotherapy in healthy participants aged 18-40 years or in participants aged 18-60 years with recurrent genital herpes.
This study is testing a new treatment for herpes simplex (the virus that causes cold sores and genital herpes). It looks at how safe the treatment is, any side effects, and if it helps people with recurrent genital herpes, comparing it to a dummy treatment.
