A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of MK-0616 in Adults With Heterozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia
This study is testing a new tablet, MK-0616, for adults with a condition called Heterozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia (HeFH). We want to see if it lowers 'bad' cholesterol (LDL-C) and if it's safe to use. Half the people will get the new tablet, and half will get a dummy tablet.
