WHiTE16-DELPHIC: An investigation of people 60 years and over with a broken hip to determine whether they are less likely to have delirium after hip surgery if we treat them with corticosteroids during the operation
This study looks at whether a common drug called dexamethasone can stop confusion (delirium) in people over 60 who have hip surgery after breaking a hip. Half get the drug, half get usual care. We'll compare their recovery to see if it helps.

This study looks at a gentle treatment called Remote Ischaemic Conditioning (RIC) for people with hip fractures. RIC uses a blood pressure cuff to briefly restrict blood flow in an arm or leg, aiming to improve healing and reduce problems after surgery. We want to see if it's safe and practical.

Comparative analysis of the effectiveness and security of the blockade Erectus Spinae Plane Lumbar (ESP-L) versus the absence of locoregional block in hip surgery
This study is looking at how well a pain-relief injection in the back (called an ESP block) works for people having hip surgery. They want to see if it reduces pain better than no injection, and if it's safe. It's for adults having operations on their hip or upper leg bone.
