Mobility in hospital after hip fracture research hub

INITIATE: Increased mobility in hospital after hip fracture

Breaking a hip can severely affect an older person's independence. The INITIATE trial is exploring whether encouraging patients to move around more on the hospital ward after hip surgery helps them recover faster, return home sooner, and stay living independently. It is open to adults aged 60 and older.
