Evaluation of Seismocardiography(SCG) for Assessing Fitness and Predicting Outcomes in Oesophageal Cancer Surgery
This study looks at a new, quick device called Seismofit. It measures your fitness using heart vibrations. We want to see if it can help predict how well patients with oesophageal cancer will recover after surgery and treatment, and compare it to existing fitness tests.

Route of nutrition and muscle wasting after oesophagectomy – a randomised, controlled, observer blind trial
This study looks at how different ways of giving food affect muscle strength in people after surgery for oesophageal cancer. We want to see if a special liquid food given through a drip helps prevent muscle loss compared to other feeding methods.
