Assessment of the impairment of the serotoninergic system during the prodromal phase of Parkinson’s disease in SNCA mutation carriers by PET using [11C]DASB and [11C]SB207145 : SerIAL-PD

This study looks at changes in the brain's messaging system, specifically serotonin, in people who may be in the very early stages of Parkinson's disease. Using special brain scans, researchers hope to find early signs of the condition to better understand and eventually treat it.
