Dietary fibre supplementation to reduce side effects of prostate radiotherapy (DIETRICH study)

This study looks at whether a fibre supplement called inulin can reduce side effects like diarrhoea and bladder problems in men having radiotherapy for prostate cancer. Half of the 220 participants will take inulin, and the other half will take a dummy supplement, to see if fibre helps.
