A research study testing whether a single dose of [18F]AldoView can produce useful images of adrenal glands allowing identification of participants with and without primary aldosteronism
This study tests a new scan called AldoView for people with high blood pressure caused by primary aldosteronism (PA). PA is when adrenal glands make too much a hormone. AldoView helps doctors find which gland is causing the problem, which can help with treatment.

Randomised Trial Comparing Thermal Ablation With Adrenalectomy in the Treatment of Unilateral Asymmetric PA
This study compares two treatments for a type of high blood pressure called primary aldosteronism. We want to see if a less invasive treatment, thermal ablation, works as well as surgery to remove a gland that's causing the problem, for people with a specific type of this condition.
