Contribution of Point of Care Ultrasound by the Emergency Physician to Rule Out the Small Bowel Obstruction: a Diagnostic, Multicenter Study
This study is looking at whether a quick ultrasound scan by emergency doctors can help rule out a bowel blockage in people arriving at A&E. This might mean fewer people need a CT scan, which uses radiation and takes longer, especially for those thought to be at low or medium risk.

Predicting NOM Failure in Bowel Obstruction
This study aims to predict if non-surgical treatment for bowel blockage due to adhesions will work. Researchers will use special computer software to analyse CT scans from patients in France and Italy to help doctors decide more quickly if surgery is needed.
