This study, called GEIST, is gathering information from hospitals around the world about people who have a heart condition called Takotsubo syndrome. The aim is to understand the condition better by looking at patient information, treatment, and how well people recover over time.

A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Multicenter Study of Levosimendan Therapy in low ejection fraction Takotsubo Syndrome (LevoTako Trial)
The LevoTako trial looks at a medicine called Levosimendan for people with a temporary heart condition called Takotsubo Syndrome. It's a large study to see if this medicine helps the heart recover faster while in the hospital.
