Apixaban to Prevent Venous Thromboembolism in Ambulatory Lung Cancer Patients Undergoing Systemic Anticancer Treatment
This study looks at whether a tablet called apixaban can stop blood clots in people with lung cancer who are having chemotherapy. Blood clots can be a serious problem, and apixaban is a 'blood thinner' designed to reduce this risk.

RIVAroxaban Versus Low-molecular Weight Heparin in Patients With Lower Limb Trauma Requiring Brace or CASTing
This study compares two medicines, rivaroxaban and LMWH, for preventing blood clots in people with leg injuries needing a cast or brace. It aims to see if rivaroxaban is as good as, and easier to use than, LMWH for those at higher risk of clots.
