This study looks at brain signals in people with severe Tourette's. Scientists hope to find brain patterns, called biomarkers, that happen just before a tic. This could lead to better deep brain stimulation treatments that adapt to a person's needs.

A Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Phase IIb, Multi-center, Twelve-week Prospective Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Gemlapodect in Adult and Adolescent Patients with Tourette Syndrome – Allevia 2
This study, called 'Allevia 2', is testing a new medicine called Gemlapodect for Tourette Syndrome. It aims to see if the medicine helps reduce tics and is safe for adults and teenagers over 18. Participants will take either the new medicine or a dummy pill for 12 weeks.
