Pre-clinical Diagnosis Using Integrated Microbial and Host Response Signatures to Improve Outcomes From Ventilator-associated Pneumonia in Critically Ill Children
This study aims to find better ways to diagnose and treat lung infections (VAP) in seriously ill children on breathing machines. We want to use new tests that look at tiny germs and the body's response to help doctors make quicker, more accurate decisions, reducing long hospital stays and antibiotic use.
