???? Infection

Had physio today, a good massage of both legs but concerned as areas around my scars are feeling hot and looked flushed.   GP appointment booked to get it checked.

Told physio I felt like I have gone backwards, and she said I am still in the early stages of healing and each time a muscle kicks in then it will cause discomfort.   My thighs were like solid bricks this morning so she gave them a good massage but it was painful..

Back on that rollercoaster.... 1 forward 1 backward move.  but actual hips are pain free it the area surrounding them that is the problem.

    UPDATE

I do not have an infection... but inflamation of the scar tissues and not taking my pain meds regularly is not helping.    Now have to take Naproxin and Tramadol twice daily along with Paracetamol.    Also ice pack regularly.

If this does not work then they will need to do a scan to check area but range of mobility was good for being only 15 weeks post op.   Dr said you are expecting to much so early.... time is the essence as your body has been through a major procedure and needs to recover... do not expect to be doing the same as those who have had one hip done.   The body has gone through complete stress and needs to re-aline and recover from being pulled, stretched, and the alien hip joints.

Think I was being told off!!!!! lol... now to try and get some water therapy.
