I have been in so much pain for the past 5 months and I'm sick of the misdiagnoses. First, i thought it was my L4/L5 herniated disc. It was but I was also told that I had shingles without the rash. 😖😖😖 I feel like I have a hot plate strapped to my side. Pain level is not even on the charts. They gave me Oxycodone for pain and GABAPINTIN for the non-rash shingles. I also went and bought some ICY HOT W/Lidocaine. All three work together but the pain meds constipate you😳. I'm so tired of this and I cry because it hurts. I am a mother of 7 who successfully took them all from DIAPERS TO DIPLOMAS with the help of God and my husband. I also have 6 grands whom I love dearly, but this pain is just unbearable.

SOMEONE PLEASE ADVISE👂🏽👂🏽👂🏽👂🏽

    I have been reading all these does anyone ever think about about diet and exercise.I have been getting shingles for 25 years and i have sooo much research...watch lylin...it messes with ur body... valtrex does the best for me.. i have used fami..but diet exercise and watching stress they are so very important...and the first sign of shingles what everyit may be for each body start taking ur med...i also had 2 children and yes the pain is worse than child birth...when i still had my monthy it would trigger them...i have also found not to get them wet at all....this group is so wonderful now i do not feel so alone....good luck to all..

      I don't not have I ever had the rash it I sympathize with those who do. The pain however, is all the same. I was told to see a pain management specialist AGAIN! Don't see how that's going to work. I made up my mind last night that the same way GOD healed the herniated disc, HE can take this away also. After all, he created all of us and he surely knows all about it. I've been complaining and crying about it and forgot that the main doctor who can fix all of this is Jesus!!! He healed me from rheumatoid arthritis many years ago and I haven't had any flare ups since. I mean I was emergency room hopping for many, many years but when I visited my husbands church, and I heard that Jesus is a healer, I tried it for myself. AND IT WORKED!!👋🏾👋🏾 Thank you Jesus! Not many believe in what I'm saying and that's okay also but for me, I'm going to turn it all over to him and let him work it out. After all, it's free, I don't have to make an appointment, and I have to do is provide the faith and he will do the rest! So if you have even an ounce of faith TRUST God for your healing!!!       I have been a runner, Pilates, and hot yoga type of person since I was 17. I am now 44 and 2 years ago I had my first shingles attack. 3 months later, I started back on my exercise regimen, and in 2 weeks I was sick again. I waited a month and re-started. A week later I could feel the burning and the fatigue was intense! As I continued to play with what helps me, I have found that walks and yoga (without heat) are the best. I still experienced another episode this past week, but it was way more mild than the others. In fact, I still walked and did some yoga classes. I just added a nap and got some help with my kids.

      Diet is always important!!

      I do believe that God is capable of anything and everything, and I am daily in prayer for people I know in need, however after reading your entry, I thought about how much I have asked him to help me with this aweful shingles! The answer is, not so much! I will definitely make this a priority. Thanks for the reminder : )

      You are definitely welcome! I was reminded after I remembered all of my other healings he has performed. And my faith increased more even after just remembering. He's an awesome God! Again, HE CREATED US AND HE KNOWS!

    I have been dealing with the pain in my shoulder from shingles since Feb.Ive taken gavapinten for 4 months. It has not helped.They have me on anatripaline its not helping. They wanted to put me on cymbalta but my insurance dont cover it. I feel your pain. Im miserable everyday.The pain is so bad by the time i get off work i just cry. A friend told me about a pain oil u can get from the dispencery. Im heading there tomorrow. I will let u know how it works

      Ask if the insurance will cover venlafaxine as it is a similar medication to Cymbalta...your. Doctor needs to follow up on this...

      Be persistent and tell them you want to work, but can't go on with the pain like this....

      Thankyou Karla I,ve had the amitripilene but ti gave me nightmares something shocking.I take gabapenton for fibromyaligia have upped the dose.I,ve just about come to the conclusion we have what we have and just have to sit it out.I like you have dissolved into tears but keep them hidden my husband is so good to me i don,t want him tosee them.
