VINEGAR, VINEGAR AND MORE VINEGAR!!! You don't need to pay money to get rid of these things!! Listen up people, if you want to see quicker results just use vinegar to get rid of your awful warts or veruca/s!! Get either white wine vinear or apple cider vinegar, cotton wool balls and some duck tape. Break the cotton wool into smaller pieces (slightly larger than the veruca or wart itself) Soak these cotton wool pieces in vinegar and place directly over the veruca/s. Secure in place over night with plenty of duck tape. Do this every night. In the morning, remove the tape and shower as usual. Let the area dry up during the day and leave alone. After only a few days you will feel slight tenderness in the veruca area and you will notice that it changes colour, becoming darker. I think that this is because the veruca has absorbed the vinegar and the flesh is decaying and drying up. This is the only thing that has helped me with mine. Don't waste money on over the counter products-its a waste!! Don't have them cut out or frozen or lazered-off until youhave tried this for at least 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this will be the most effective thing you've tried! And easy and natural and cheap. Try it!! Good luck!!! xoxox :ok:

Mine is an area of Mosaic verrucae. I thought it was just hard skin when I went to the doctor over 20 years ago. I have been trying AVC for a year now but they are so persistent. I keep thinking I'm nearly there but they never quite go and the hard skin like stuff just grows over again even if I persist with AVC. It's been a cylce that has been going on now for a year and I can't see it changing.

hang in there. i have found the less sanding the better. i never skip a day . when you think they are gone dont stop

What can I put on them when a lot of it has come off and there is mostly pink skin underneath? At this point I know they're not gone but ACV would be too painful at this point. Is there anything else I can use? I am using mouthwash at the moment. I used ACV last few days and soaked in water for ages tonight and a lot peeled off. Too sore for more ACV. What can I do?

i'm still at the beginning of my journey so others may be more helpful, but how about taping with duct tape? Maybe with a very thin sheet of ACV soaked cotton thats been squeezed very well?

with my daughter i dabbed ACV on with a cotton bud before bed when she couldnt have it taped on.

how long did it take rainbowroad? I'm limping quite considerably - it's agony! im being careful to cut the cotton down to the right size but i still get really sharp pain, and it shoots through my foot 😦 will try the sudocreme approach to protecting skin...

ive got the famous black bits coming through, now far too sore to file. so slicing top off with a very sharp blade once a week. am coming to term with the likelihood the verruca of 5 years wont be gone by my summer holiday...any advice/words of comfort appreciated (im feeling very sorry for myself today) x

I would say possibly three months or so and I had it for about six years and nothing else worked. There was times where it was agony and I did stop for a couple of days but do try the sudocrem on the good skin because it definitely helped me. I noticed that after I stopped filing it so much it seemed to go quicker. I bought a scalpel from ebay and used it every so often instead so I would say you are on the right track. Honestly I was close to giving up it looked awful and one day it just fell off and that was that. Also are you using duct tape and sleeping with it on? If ifs in an awkward position try tying something around it to keep it on, I cut an old sock and used it to tie around my foot and keep the duct tape on.

mine still not gone. Been over a year of ACV now. Seem really close, but then it has before.. One really hard lump on the bottom of my toe that nothing seems to shift.

Time for an update! it's been about 5 weeks. Pain is minimal thanks to the sudocrem - black bits have gone on one side, more coming through on the other side. The white cauliflower skin is still there - but i can't feel the verruca when i walk anymore...still looks hideous...slow process but definitely feels like it's going in the right direction. shaving the top off every other week. Eva hope you're getting somewhere x
