VINEGAR, VINEGAR AND MORE VINEGAR!!! You don't need to pay money to get rid of these things!! Listen up people, if you want to see quicker results just use vinegar to get rid of your awful warts or veruca/s!! Get either white wine vinear or apple cider vinegar, cotton wool balls and some duck tape. Break the cotton wool into smaller pieces (slightly larger than the veruca or wart itself) Soak these cotton wool pieces in vinegar and place directly over the veruca/s. Secure in place over night with plenty of duck tape. Do this every night. In the morning, remove the tape and shower as usual. Let the area dry up during the day and leave alone. After only a few days you will feel slight tenderness in the veruca area and you will notice that it changes colour, becoming darker. I think that this is because the veruca has absorbed the vinegar and the flesh is decaying and drying up. This is the only thing that has helped me with mine. Don't waste money on over the counter products-its a waste!! Don't have them cut out or frozen or lazered-off until youhave tried this for at least 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this will be the most effective thing you've tried! And easy and natural and cheap. Try it!! Good luck!!! xoxox :ok:

Not sure, really. still going with the ACV and keep feeling like i'm so nearly there then it all hardens over again or 8 can 'feel' it growing.

i’m going through the same thing also. So ready to stop treating. I’m going on three years this coming September. It’s almost gone but yet like you said it hardens over again and I have that growing sensation. Very frustrating.

I am so nearly there it's frustrating. I even get seemingly clear skin underneath but then it grows back over again. I'm just going to keep going. There's nothing else I can do if I leave it I will be back to square one....

Ive been at this stage for 8 months . Im beginning to think its a cruel joke

It's depressing. I just want to be verruca free like normal people. is that too much to ask?

oh man that's harsh. Has the vinegar thinned the verucca callus? if it has then maybe bazooka extra strength might work on the last bit? i totally sympathise. Have had mine for 4.5 years and I just want normal feet and to not feel like a leper. It WILL happen for us all: keep fighting xx

i crushed extra strength aspirin and made a paste and applied it twice a day. it took 1 month to kill it. then to make sure it was truly dead it for almost 2 weeks more. this is the only thing that worked for me after having this thing for 6 to 7 mos

note: sometimes i used water or acv to make the aspirin paste.

the only thing i have now is a white dot in my finger where i used the aspirin.

I have not tried extra aspirin so that might be worth a try. I have nothing to lose. Still suffering.

I have been using the avc for over a year and a half now and still no joy. It's the best thing I've tried in that it stops it growing (getting rid of the need of hours of using a battery operated hard skin file and all the money spent on batteries for that) and makes it more comfortable on a day-to-day basis but they just will not go permanently. I am at my wits end. I really thought the avc would be the answer to my prayers but sadly not. I think I will have these verrucae for the rest of my life.

    What is DMSO?

    • Posted

The story of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is an unusual one. This by-product of the paper making process was discovered in Germany in the late 19th century. It’s a colorless liquid that gained notoriety for its ability to penetrate skin and other biological membranes.

Scientists discovered that they could use DMSO as a transportation device to pass small molecules through skin. Since then, scientists have researched the potential benefits and risks of using DMSO to treat a variety of conditions. This research is ongoing.

have you tried salactol? you could alternate between it and ACV, its very strong. Didnt work for me on its own but tried it every so often while also treating with ACV

yea so i would have used maybe salactol for two nights then switched back to ACV then back again to salactol. In the end i was just using ACV but i think when its being really stubborn, adding something else into the mix helps as i feel like it might shock it more?

Salactol did nothing for me. I have indestructible verrucae.

i did everything too. the freezing only made it bigger. i crushed extra strength aspirin added acv and made a paste. i put vaseline around the healthy skin then covered the wart with paste. covered with bandaid . i did this twice a day each time i cleaned the area and debrided it with med grit sandpaper. within 1 month it was gone. i continued treatment for 2 more weeks to make sure it was really gone. its been 1 year and it hasnt come back. i do have a white spot where i applied the aspirin but that is it. the wart was on my finger.

What a nightmare. To be honest the salactol alone didnt kill it for me it was a combination of it some nights but with the ACV every single morning and night. As above, vaseline around the healthy skin to protect it. Are you using the ACV aswell? honestly I had my verrucae for years and thought it was never going away. Hasnt been back!
