VINEGAR, VINEGAR AND MORE VINEGAR!!! You don't need to pay money to get rid of these things!! Listen up people, if you want to see quicker results just use vinegar to get rid of your awful warts or veruca/s!! Get either white wine vinear or apple cider vinegar, cotton wool balls and some duck tape. Break the cotton wool into smaller pieces (slightly larger than the veruca or wart itself) Soak these cotton wool pieces in vinegar and place directly over the veruca/s. Secure in place over night with plenty of duck tape. Do this every night. In the morning, remove the tape and shower as usual. Let the area dry up during the day and leave alone. After only a few days you will feel slight tenderness in the veruca area and you will notice that it changes colour, becoming darker. I think that this is because the veruca has absorbed the vinegar and the flesh is decaying and drying up. This is the only thing that has helped me with mine. Don't waste money on over the counter products-its a waste!! Don't have them cut out or frozen or lazered-off until youhave tried this for at least 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this will be the most effective thing you've tried! And easy and natural and cheap. Try it!! Good luck!!! xoxox :ok:

i crushed asperin and mixed a little apple cider vinegar into a paste. applied vaseline around the wart so it wouldnt eat the healthy skin. applied paste then bandaid. i did this twice a day and debride the warty flesh with medium grit sand paper. within a month it was gone. its been a year since and hasn't come back.

I tried everything to no avail, including vinegar and having them frozen off . Then I tried covering my veruccas and warts with little pieces of duct tape, and they all disappeared within a few weeks!

Haven't tried the aspiring yet. Still on the ACV diluted with mouth wash! They are sooo much better but still not entirely gone and can feel growing if I don't have something on them. I think if I can replace the cotton wool half way through the day that might work. I am working from home at the moment so could do that. Otherwise it dries up halfway through the day. Had forgotten about the aspirin. Might get some when I next go to shop which is obviously not very often at the moment.

I recently tried white vinegar on a wart on the back of my hand with absolute success, was very impressed.
I soaked a small cotton ball in white vinegar, placed this on the wart, then wrapped my hand in cling film to keep the cotton ball in place. I left this on overnight and left my hand to air during the day.
I repeated the process for 12 nights, the wart was quite black by then and with a little scratch the bulk of the wart came away. It is two weeks since I stopped the vinegar and slowly the scabby skin is coming away to reveal NO WART!!
The surrounding skin started to get a little 'burnt' and sore during treatment so used a petroleum jelly to protect it. Lastly I used a rose and vetiver oil to help heal the skin. Just like magic, I thoroughly recommend this treatment.

I'm really glad I've found this forum, I feel like there are barely any REAL advice on the internet and hearing everyone's personal experiences has helped me not feel so bad about mine!
I have had a huge verruca on the heel of my foot for 10 years now and a smaller one on my other foot on the bottom of my big toe . I am a dancer so everytime I went to get rid, the pain was too unbearable that I ended up giving up just so I could still dance. Now we are in lockdown I have decided to truly get rid of them. I'm going to do them one at a time, starting with my heel as this one is just so ugly and the pain at times is horrendous.
I have been filing away but with a calluse file and used some bazuka for a week but after reading this i just tried the ACV method for the first time but had to take it off after 45 mins. THE PAIN?! please tell me it's normal.. my foot was on fire, my verruca was stinging and it seems the white hard ring around the verruca is really prominent and the skin around that is swollen and tender! is this right?
I have given up on leaving it over night as it's too painful and I need a good nights sleep tonight. I've gone back to masking it for tonight with the bazuka and maybe I'll try again tomorrow. I know this is an old thread but it's been a really helpful read and if anyone out there who is seeing this is going through the same thing I'd love to discuss and check in.

file , then apply ACV for as long as you can. leave off in the day and try to apply at night. my daughter had a moasic cluster and they went. we have others we are treating and she says it stings she manages to keep on over night but when it gets too much she takes it off. keep going with it , it will work. file, acv , dry and repeat

Thankyou for replying Jackie30198! I've stuck to it, regardless of the pain i had to go through but i was determined to not let all the effort go to waste. It is significantly different to before but I'm not sure when to stop and if its gone? I have been through every stage you can think of, black, brown, scabby, black (again!) and now it is pink with what looks like a little bloody bit? I'm just hoping the blood isn't more "black roots" and its where i may be filing away a bit too hard at fresh skin? Could you tell me how it looked when your daughters had gone..

I got a splinter on my thumb about a month ago and couldn't get it out, it then turned hard and yellow. I assumed it had become a wart so I started nuking it with ACV for about a week while cutting the outer edges in an O shape. It turned black about after 3 days and i kept removing the black parts with a needle and nail clippers. I was constantly sterilising them with hydrogen peroxide so dont worry. Today there was a little bit of black left on the outer ring so I used my nail clippers to yank it out and now it looks like this
I put some Antibacterial cream on it and sealed it with a bandaid for now. should i continue to treat it with ACV or does it look like I got everything out based on the photo? Tips would be most appreciated!

I too posted on the forum a fews years ago but how vinegar helped kill my verucca. Now it's back I can't believe it!! I wonder if this possibly happens every few years as its in the same spot. I now have a callus and it's growing from there which I found so strange. Starting the vinegar again tonight!!

I'm so pleased yours have gone and your feet have started to heal! I mostly left mine since my last reply but for the past couple nights I have gone in hard with the ACV and just ordered salactol as I think it was a combination of both that helped me last time. Verucca is going blackish, not completely black as I remember before though. Also burnt the skin last night and was in such agony I couldn't get to sleep! living for the day I beat the bugger once again! Quite concerned however that it went away for a couple years then returned to the same spot, does anyone know why?
