VINEGAR, VINEGAR AND MORE VINEGAR!!! You don't need to pay money to get rid of these things!! Listen up people, if you want to see quicker results just use vinegar to get rid of your awful warts or veruca/s!! Get either white wine vinear or apple cider vinegar, cotton wool balls and some duck tape. Break the cotton wool into smaller pieces (slightly larger than the veruca or wart itself) Soak these cotton wool pieces in vinegar and place directly over the veruca/s. Secure in place over night with plenty of duck tape. Do this every night. In the morning, remove the tape and shower as usual. Let the area dry up during the day and leave alone. After only a few days you will feel slight tenderness in the veruca area and you will notice that it changes colour, becoming darker. I think that this is because the veruca has absorbed the vinegar and the flesh is decaying and drying up. This is the only thing that has helped me with mine. Don't waste money on over the counter products-its a waste!! Don't have them cut out or frozen or lazered-off until youhave tried this for at least 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this will be the most effective thing you've tried! And easy and natural and cheap. Try it!! Good luck!!! xoxox :ok:

Just thought I'd write a quick message to see how everyone is getting on? Anyone had any luck with getting rid permanently?
I've been so busy this past week and a bit, I've not managed to keep up with putting the vinegar on, but back to it tonight. They are definitely getting better, but god I want rid of them so much!!
Keep me updated
Its encouraging to hear other people doing well!

Just tried it again tonight and its so hard to know whether to stop or not, as it still doesn't seem to be healing but at the same time, I can see no black in it! Arghgg!

I'm just left with some very dry skin on the edge of my toe (where the verrucas were) so think i'm going to keep bathing with the AVC and filing until all that has gone and i'm back to healthy skin.
But absolutely no sign of Verrucas at all so it's been a great success.
I did have a scab, surrounded by a very dry area of skin, which I left for a few days and eventually just peeled off to reveal healthy skin.
Hope this helps!

How exactly have you got rid of them? Do you scrape out the black or just leave them til they fall ? More successful advice would be brill!

I have just read this entire thread as my son has two verrucas on his feet both of which in this heat very itchy and sore. We have tried the usual treatments and at the moment I am trying the usual freezing stuff but he's had them for over a year now and we've both had enough. plus they seem to be getting bigger not smaller. All this makes very interesting reading and if it was on my feet I wouldn't hesitate to try it based on your success stories. My problem is trying it on my son when a group of adults are saying how much it hurts. Do you think the pain is too much for a 7 year old to endure?

Mums the word, mine was on the side of my foot and I can honestly say the pain was bearable, I guess it depends on the size of the verrucas as the bigger they are the worse they will feel.. Definitely try it as it won't harm it and see how he goes with it but ACV was the only thing that worked for me after having had the verruca for nearly 3 years.. all the best.

Carol05 - Thats exactly what mine kept doing, with the white and black! I just want these horrible things gone! Would be lovely to not be trying to hide my feet all the time! Is the new game plan working? Keep me updated - I may have to give it a go!!
Mums the word - I find the pain is when the vinegar is on using the ductape. Though I do find, pain goes quite quick if I take the tape off and then rub my foot where the pain is for a few mins! - Although it could seem a lot worse for a younger child, but you could always give it a go. Keep us updated though
