VINEGAR, VINEGAR AND MORE VINEGAR!!! You don't need to pay money to get rid of these things!! Listen up people, if you want to see quicker results just use vinegar to get rid of your awful warts or veruca/s!! Get either white wine vinear or apple cider vinegar, cotton wool balls and some duck tape. Break the cotton wool into smaller pieces (slightly larger than the veruca or wart itself) Soak these cotton wool pieces in vinegar and place directly over the veruca/s. Secure in place over night with plenty of duck tape. Do this every night. In the morning, remove the tape and shower as usual. Let the area dry up during the day and leave alone. After only a few days you will feel slight tenderness in the veruca area and you will notice that it changes colour, becoming darker. I think that this is because the veruca has absorbed the vinegar and the flesh is decaying and drying up. This is the only thing that has helped me with mine. Don't waste money on over the counter products-its a waste!! Don't have them cut out or frozen or lazered-off until youhave tried this for at least 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure this will be the most effective thing you've tried! And easy and natural and cheap. Try it!! Good luck!!! xoxox :ok:

Hi Elle, this is exactly what happened to mine last week, a black core came out but it was all very bloody underneath, so I left it alone for the weekend. Last night I returned to filing, and the site of the verruca is now very much smaller. I then just bathed the site with the ACV as I wasn't sure how badly it would sting. There was no discomfort at all. So tonight I think i'm going to return to using it overnight again. I still have a black patch, although its much smaller than it originally was, I want to make sure that the virus has gone completely before I stop. Although my other smaller verruca has now disappeared completely so hopefully this one shouldn't be too long!

Brilliant thank you! Will leave it for a day or so then back to business with ACV!

    Hello -

Just thought I'd write a quick message to see how everyone is getting on? Anyone had any luck with getting rid permanently?

I've been so busy this past week and a bit, I've not managed to keep up with putting the vinegar on, but back to it tonight. They are definitely getting better, but god I want rid of them so much!!

Keep me updated smile Its encouraging to hear other people doing well!

Hi there! I am just trying to work out if they are gone or not.. after the black roots came out I continued with the vinegar but just got a very painful nasty red area and now a scab which is hard to remove so not sure what is underneath it.. hopefully should know within a couple of days.. fingers crossed. Did anyone else have the same thing happen?

Ooh ok - I've not had that, but I have had it where the black has gone but I've carried on as the skin around it seems hard, and not right. But its ended up becoming quite sore, where I've tried pulling it away with nail clippers, so I've had to leave it a while.

Just tried it again tonight and its so hard to know whether to stop or not, as it still doesn't seem to be healing but at the same time, I can see no black in it! Arghgg!

I am not the most patient person so I ended up taking it apart last night! It looks healthy underneath and there is a small hole in my foot but doesnt look as though there is a virus there anymore.. I am going to leave it for a couple of weeks and let it heal and then report back after that :-)

Hi! Well i'm pleased to say all three of mine have now gone completely smile

I'm just left with some very dry skin on the edge of my toe (where the verrucas were) so think i'm going to keep bathing with the AVC and filing until all that has gone and i'm back to healthy skin.

But absolutely no sign of Verrucas at all so it's been a great success.

I did have a scab, surrounded by a very dry area of skin, which I left for a few days and eventually just peeled off to reveal healthy skin.

    Hope this helps!

Oh Im so jealous! Doesn't seem to be working on mine - they look like they are going and then the black comes back in full force! Fed up of these bloody things now!!

How exactly have you got rid of them? Do you scrape out the black or just leave them til they fall ? More successful advice would be brill!

    Hi,

I have just read this entire thread as my son has two verrucas on his feet both of which in this heat very itchy and sore. We have tried the usual treatments and at the moment I am trying the usual freezing stuff but he's had them for over a year now and we've both had enough. plus they seem to be getting bigger not smaller. All this makes very interesting reading and if it was on my feet I wouldn't hesitate to try it based on your success stories. My problem is trying it on my son when a group of adults are saying how much it hurts. Do you think the pain is too much for a 7 year old to endure?

RihannaLouise, I would file it down every couple of days and when the black root became obvious i actually used tweezers to pull out as much as i could. Kept using ACV on it and continued doing the same thing as often as I could with the tweezers. I was left with a small hole that I thought could still contain the virus but then it all seemed to clear up and go completely. I had the ACV on 24hrs a day pretty much, maybe an hour or 2 off as the black seemed to get blacker in the open air. Keep going it will work I am sure!

Mums the word, mine was on the side of my foot and I can honestly say the pain was bearable, I guess it depends on the size of the verrucas as the bigger they are the worse they will feel.. Definitely try it as it won't harm it and see how he goes with it but ACV was the only thing that worked for me after having had the verruca for nearly 3 years.. all the best.

Rihannalouise i have changed my "game Plan" i'm now using Epsom Salts to soak my foot for 40 minutes every night, as hot as you can bear! then i'm putting magnesium on it,, I take magnesium supplements that i bought from holland and barret, i read a paper about medical research on the use of magnesium direct on a wart/verucca, so i crumbled the magnesium tablet and rubbed it directly on the verucca and it is ebbing away. Like you the black just kept coming and chunks of white, i was becoming desperate, on the first night of soaking, the entire thing came up to the surface like a ball, i have to keep filing every night and my foot and leg are in agony, not because of the verruca but because now I just can't put my foot down properly, in my head if i stand on it, it will come back to life!!! I can't believe how long this has gone on!!!

Mum's the word!!! I think this is way too painful a process to put on a child, its an acid burn, i would try the process with bathing the foot in the epsom salts that i've described above, everything i've read says that veruccas in children(under 16's) are easier to get rid of but patience is needed,, my daughter at 14/15 developed lots of them on her feet and basically we filed every night to get rid, took about 6 months of filing nightly.

Elle 11 - Thats exactly what I have been doing - but jjust at night with the vinegar! But it doesn't seem to be getting far.

Carol05 - Thats exactly what mine kept doing, with the white and black! I just want these horrible things gone! Would be lovely to not be trying to hide my feet all the time! Is the new game plan working? Keep me updated - I may have to give it a go!!

Mums the word - I find the pain is when the vinegar is on using the ductape. Though I do find, pain goes quite quick if I take the tape off and then rub my foot where the pain is for a few mins! - Although it could seem a lot worse for a younger child, but you could always give it a go. Keep us updated though smile
