100% WORKING TREATMENT for my IBS!

Hi, I am writing this to try to help everybody that I can because I have been on the same boat as you guys and gone through this living hell for 3 years!!!  Short description about my previous case was that I could almost eat nothing, only eat what is normally designated for IBS menu, I was always feeling that I had to go to the Bathroom, I would have IBS-D attacks daily, even taking a lot of Imodium would not work totally, painful bowel cramps, the whole works… I could go on with the list…but you guys already know what are the symptoms from personal experience.

Doctors give this autoimmune disease the name of IBS because they are totally clueless of why this happens, so they just grab all the symptoms and put them in one bag calling it IBS… to me it is just the doctors another way of saying they are clueless but they don´t want to show it to us so they won´t look bad.

Dr. Pimentel who has come up with the theory about SIBO is the cause makes me think that he is correct, this is the only one doctor that had a clue.

Now for the Treatment that I used daily :

From 10 gram to 30 grams of L-Glutamine, to repair the damaged intestinal mucosa and lining. Repairing this will block big food particles from entering the blood stream directly due to the holes in the intestinal lining cause by the bad bacteria.

12 billion Probiotic daily at least, start by using the 50 billion probiotic and then after seeing results you may try to decrease to cheaper probiotics, but don´t go below 10 billion.

Using the SIBO treatment first if desired:

Use Xifaxan ( Rifaximin) antibiotic to wipe out the bad bacteria but this will also wipe out the good bacteria ( check for Dr. Pimentel’s SIBO treatment). While you are doing this, I advise you to take probiotics daily to compensate the bacterial slaughter in the intestines. You can also start L-Glutamine ate the same time to repair the intestinal mucosa and Lining.

After the Xifaxan Treatment, keep on taking the heavy duty 50 billion probiotic daily and glutamine. After getting better, you may try to change the dosages of L-Glutamine and Probiotics and see how you adapt to lower dosages to try to save money.

Since many if not all IBS people are prone to getting E.Coli overgrowth again, you will have to keep on taking L-Glutamine and Probiotics for the rest of your life. I am on this treatment for 1 year and now I eat Pizza, Junk food, Spicy food, drink sodas and Coca-Colas and am totally normal as I was before. I will not say I am cured because it must be an auto-immune disease, but you may keep it in check and be 100% normal by just taking this for the rest of you days ( L-Glutamine and Probiotics).

I have tried previously all know medications for IBS, Antidepressants, anxiolytics , antispasmodics, tried acupuncture, etc. and I was only 30% better, because this medicines do not fix the problem, the just drug your gut to numbness…

This treatment will take around 6 months to reach 100% improvement, but you will notice improvements after 2 months, so be patient.

Good Luck to all and may god help you!

    Hi Maurice,

I saw the answer to my other question on this form, but i would like to know if you think that taking 30 grams of l glutamine and vsl #3 packet or other probiotics would help with ibs gas? And if so which would you advise, vsl #3 or another specific probitoic?

Hi, if your problem is just gas, then maybe probiotics is enough. But adding glutamine will do no harm and may help also. About the brands of probiotics, there is no better doctor than yourself to find out because everybody may react differently, but give it a try. Good luck smile

I started taking taking 5g Glutamine , but iam not able to tolerate it ,

Nausea , stomach upset( IBS) , dehydration etc

Hi, i am sorry to hear that. Try to take it with food then and not with an empty stomach. That may do the trick. I never had problems with glutamine. Good luck.

    I maurice , one more doubt ,,

    Can i take LOTRONEX ( alosetron ) -- IBS-D drug and normaxin ( Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium ) - antispasmdic n antideppresant,,

    along with Glutamine.

  • Posted

    so , have u tried these ... LOTRONEX n NORMAXIN ... when u hav IBS-D

    • Posted

I have never taken those two, Lotronex is just for women and it was taken off the market in the year 2000 because it has dangerous side effects and may cause death if not very well controlled and re-introduced after again after alot of protests.

    ok ...

so how much water did u mix for glutamine .

Daily how many times did u took it.

    • Posted

Hi, just take it with the amount of water that you want, it is just to make it easy to swallow. Take the l glutamine all at once or through out the day as many times you want to fraction it, the only thing that matters is that you take from 10 to 30 grams per day.

thnx maurice ,,,, i think ur advice of taking Glutamine with food is quite working  :-)

So u r saying we can take 30g of glutamine all at once ? Is it ok ?

    • Posted

Hi, it should be ok. You have to just see if you react well at taking all 30 grams at once. I always divided my dosages into 2 times a day, one in the morning and one dosage at night. But just do it the way you feel most comfortable with. smile

Hi, you have to be patient and not jump in kamikaze still into the food. First do the treatment and then after a while if you feel that you are acheiving positive results, then you start testing yourself with your trigger food slowly bit by bit over periods of time. Only you will feel when you should test yourself. Right now you just have started and you bowel lining is still damaged and has to heal, that takes time and is not done overnight. So please be patient, you will get there. smile

      ok maurice ...

but ,, i feel Glutamine is interacting with alcohol ,,

Iam feeling the difference with n without taking alcohol..

but i cant control having alcohol ,,, ??

Alcohol is the one of the last thing you should try to test on yourself to check how you are going with the treatment. Alcohol is bad for the gut lining and the bacterial flora. You should only start with alcohol when you feel close or 100%. I still remember like it was yesterday, my last day before my IBS havoc was the day I went to the company Christmas dinner and had almost no food and alot of acohol, I got wasted that day. The next day when I woke up, I felt the hangover of course, but something also very strange in my bowels and started to go to the bathroom serveral times a day, and from that day on I was just getting worse acheiving full symptoms of IBS/Sibo. So I can say that the acohol was the last trigger of years of antibiotics, acohol and other bad things I did to my guts. So if I was you I would take it easy, start slowly and try to heal first and leave acohol only for when you feel 100%, because that way you will have a hard time to fix your guts.

      hi maurice ,,

does trigger foods disturb the healing process (or)

does eating foods which cause discomfort n pain n gas ,, damage intestinal lining more n more?

      hi maurice,

does Vitamin D3 also heals the lining of the gut ?

does Calcium Carbonate also heals the lining of the gut ?

Just read in some discussion forums .

Hi, of course there are some trigger foods that do more harm than good to the intestinal lining. Alcohol for example is irritable to the gut lining. Of course I am not saying never drink again, but first cure yourself then drink moderatly and do not over do it. It is like an cold, you cure yourself first at home with medicine and then you go outside into the the cold weather when you are cured.

Vitamin D did not work with me, but it may work for others, so I cannot say much about it. But about vitamin D, I never found information about it healing the gut lining, Glutamine is the best for that.

Calcium Carbonate, from what I read a long time ago,is only used to help absorb water in the bowels, so it may be useful for IBS-D.

so ,,, if our bowel lining is damaged so much ... why doesnt it show up in Endoscopy or colonoscopy ....

and , what are the main FOODS to avoid ,,,, which damages the intestinal ling (or) which disturbs the healing process ...( while taking tese GLUTAMINE n PROBIOTICS)

Well, I do not know, maybe their technology is still a little bit behind when it comes to sticking an camera up somebody’s behind. I just know that the holes are microscopic and probably that would mean that they would have to stick an microscope up there, which would be impossible to fit, try to imagine that scenario, LOL.

I guess that have a certain answer , just ask a doctor why.

Even the SIBO test is not a 100% reliable.

About the trigger foods, I just use common sense, like everybody knows that Alcohol , hot spices, or other bad foods are really bad for our guts.

so what about YOGURT ...does it increase the bad bacteria in the gut as it contains lactose ( sugar ) ?

      hi maurice ,,

Just wanna add Vitamin D3 High Doses ,,, while we are in Rifaximin and Probiotics , Glutamine treatment ?

Does Vitamin D3 high Dose like 5000IU to 10000IU interacts with any of these?
