100% WORKING TREATMENT for my IBS!

Hi, I am writing this to try to help everybody that I can because I have been on the same boat as you guys and gone through this living hell for 3 years!!!  Short description about my previous case was that I could almost eat nothing, only eat what is normally designated for IBS menu, I was always feeling that I had to go to the Bathroom, I would have IBS-D attacks daily, even taking a lot of Imodium would not work totally, painful bowel cramps, the whole works… I could go on with the list…but you guys already know what are the symptoms from personal experience.

Doctors give this autoimmune disease the name of IBS because they are totally clueless of why this happens, so they just grab all the symptoms and put them in one bag calling it IBS… to me it is just the doctors another way of saying they are clueless but they don´t want to show it to us so they won´t look bad.

Dr. Pimentel who has come up with the theory about SIBO is the cause makes me think that he is correct, this is the only one doctor that had a clue.

Now for the Treatment that I used daily :

From 10 gram to 30 grams of L-Glutamine, to repair the damaged intestinal mucosa and lining. Repairing this will block big food particles from entering the blood stream directly due to the holes in the intestinal lining cause by the bad bacteria.

12 billion Probiotic daily at least, start by using the 50 billion probiotic and then after seeing results you may try to decrease to cheaper probiotics, but don´t go below 10 billion.

Using the SIBO treatment first if desired:

Use Xifaxan ( Rifaximin) antibiotic to wipe out the bad bacteria but this will also wipe out the good bacteria ( check for Dr. Pimentel’s SIBO treatment). While you are doing this, I advise you to take probiotics daily to compensate the bacterial slaughter in the intestines. You can also start L-Glutamine ate the same time to repair the intestinal mucosa and Lining.

After the Xifaxan Treatment, keep on taking the heavy duty 50 billion probiotic daily and glutamine. After getting better, you may try to change the dosages of L-Glutamine and Probiotics and see how you adapt to lower dosages to try to save money.

Since many if not all IBS people are prone to getting E.Coli overgrowth again, you will have to keep on taking L-Glutamine and Probiotics for the rest of your life. I am on this treatment for 1 year and now I eat Pizza, Junk food, Spicy food, drink sodas and Coca-Colas and am totally normal as I was before. I will not say I am cured because it must be an auto-immune disease, but you may keep it in check and be 100% normal by just taking this for the rest of you days ( L-Glutamine and Probiotics).

I have tried previously all know medications for IBS, Antidepressants, anxiolytics , antispasmodics, tried acupuncture, etc. and I was only 30% better, because this medicines do not fix the problem, the just drug your gut to numbness…

This treatment will take around 6 months to reach 100% improvement, but you will notice improvements after 2 months, so be patient.

Good Luck to all and may god help you!

    Hello everyone,

Just wanted to give you an update on my particular journey and experience. As I posted before it's been about a year that I've been officially diagnosed with IBS (-D/A), but about 3+ that I've been having symptoms to a bigger or lesser extent. I think my case is the typical post infectious or antibiotic related IBS/Leaky gut, and not sure about candida overgrowth. Before I started Maurice's treatment I tried probiotics and high/low fiber and neither were significant in my improvement, in fact the fiber plans not at all and the probiotics anecdotically (I used to have anal itch and more explosive BMS, not anymore, so I guess they slowly help in some way). When I started Maurice's suggested treatment 2 months ago I had an immediate and almost magical improvement of about 80%, I was so thrilled! This lasted only about 10 days though, and I came back to my usual nightmare, with some rare days being back to normal. Up to this day (about 2 months later) I have less urgency, less BMs, and more consistent and normal ones, a bit less gas. I have periods (1 weeks every 3), where Im close to normal, and when the grease above the matter dissapears and I seem to be able to eat many more foods. Then it comes back to the usual problem. I am sticking to the treatment as I think I'm on the right track, hopefully the normal phase becomes more and more predominant until the moment I get cured. I was surprised when I relapsed after my first initial recovery, as I thought the recovery would be progressive and not with this dynamic of good and bad weeks (What's your experience with this Maurice?).

So, at the moment, I'm taking 15 g Glutamine and 2 pills VSL3 for about 225 billion active bacteria (what a nightmare to find VSL3 in Europe btw!  : ( ).

I also do a gluten free, low lactose, mostly garlic/onion free diet (kind of Low fodmap) and was considering the SCD (specific carbohydrate diet) but dont know if it makes any sense. When I feel good I realize diet is important but it¡s not the cause of the problem, because when Im good for a week or so it doesnt seem to matter that much what I eat (provided that its healthy and fresh and not too heavy).

Please share your thoughts, comments and questions.

I am here for you and having this discussion to come to and read really keeps my hope of getting fully cured up!

All the best of luck to everyone!!

uhmm, was ur 10 day recovery period when u were on antibiotics? coz if that were the case then it's expected to get a relapse. I follow the scd diet right after I finish the rifaximin medication to avoid any inflammation though i do cheat once in a while and pay the price for it.... but when i am on the scd diet, i am okay 90% of the time

No, I didn't take antibiotics. I believe my problem is mainly due to antibiotics in the past, and although I do get the point of taking these specific ones I'd rather try without them first, so no, that doesn't explain it. I've informed myself in regards to the SCD diet but Im not quite convinced, I tried it for a week and it really didn't help. I feel like low Fodmap helps better but that in any case the diet is a beneficial support but when Im fine normal diet without gluten and heavy lactose and spices is good enough.

Hi, I also had ups and downs during my treatment, but you will notice that starting to have good days is something that you did not have before for such long periods of time and the further that time goes by, you will notice that also the good periods increase. You will have bad times, but they will become less and less frequent over time.

Thank you so much for your reply , Maurice. This gives me even bigger hope that I' m on the right track. I thought it was a weird recovery dynamic but felt somehow confident it was helping in a way, even if slowly or not greatly, but to hear this is exactly the pattern you recovered with makes me happy and full of wishful thinking. Always thankful. Ill keep posting. M.

2 grams of L-Glutamine will hardly do anything ( from personal experience), atleast take 10 grams splitted along the day. L-Glutamine will not increase your watery motions, it can have the oposite effect like giving you a little bit of constipation due to absorbing the water in your bowels. You can just add L-GLutamine together with probiotics, take them at the same time if you wish, it is the same. If you get upset with L-Glutamine, take it with food like Kieron99190 is saying.

But of course, if you want to increase slowly, it is ok. Just remember that the objective is to atleast to take the 10 grams to start working on healing the bowel walls.

      Thanks maurice for your comment.

My major problem is i have IBS as well as UC, i get loose motions along with mucos and rectal bleeding in the end.

The fact is i cant experiment on every thing bcz it directly increases my bleeding which makes me depressed and weak.

I would request if you can suggest some remedy for me so that i live a stress free life.

Hi, my treatment is for IBS / SIBO.

It is known that UC has no cure yet until today, but you never know about tomorrow because they are always discovering new treatments for health conditions.

But of course you may benifit from L-Glutamine and probiotics to alleviate your UC. Also omega 3 is good for the inflamation in your Colon. Sorry if I cannot be much of help.

Is there anything else you can suggest apart from glutamine for repairing the gut wall?  The problem is as you say that for people with constipation, it could make the matter worse.  That is why i stopped taking glutamine when i read that, and now am just taking priobiotics.

Sorry, but my experience is only with l-Glutamine and it is the only thing that I know that really works on healing the bowel walls because it is the food for your bowels. It is not garanted to create constipation, it can or cannot, it depends on the person, try to divide the amount into several times a day and add magnesium to decrease the chances of constiapation effect if it does ever happen.
