100% WORKING TREATMENT for my IBS!

Hi, I am writing this to try to help everybody that I can because I have been on the same boat as you guys and gone through this living hell for 3 years!!!  Short description about my previous case was that I could almost eat nothing, only eat what is normally designated for IBS menu, I was always feeling that I had to go to the Bathroom, I would have IBS-D attacks daily, even taking a lot of Imodium would not work totally, painful bowel cramps, the whole works… I could go on with the list…but you guys already know what are the symptoms from personal experience.

Doctors give this autoimmune disease the name of IBS because they are totally clueless of why this happens, so they just grab all the symptoms and put them in one bag calling it IBS… to me it is just the doctors another way of saying they are clueless but they don´t want to show it to us so they won´t look bad.

Dr. Pimentel who has come up with the theory about SIBO is the cause makes me think that he is correct, this is the only one doctor that had a clue.

Now for the Treatment that I used daily :

From 10 gram to 30 grams of L-Glutamine, to repair the damaged intestinal mucosa and lining. Repairing this will block big food particles from entering the blood stream directly due to the holes in the intestinal lining cause by the bad bacteria.

12 billion Probiotic daily at least, start by using the 50 billion probiotic and then after seeing results you may try to decrease to cheaper probiotics, but don´t go below 10 billion.

Using the SIBO treatment first if desired:

Use Xifaxan ( Rifaximin) antibiotic to wipe out the bad bacteria but this will also wipe out the good bacteria ( check for Dr. Pimentel’s SIBO treatment). While you are doing this, I advise you to take probiotics daily to compensate the bacterial slaughter in the intestines. You can also start L-Glutamine ate the same time to repair the intestinal mucosa and Lining.

After the Xifaxan Treatment, keep on taking the heavy duty 50 billion probiotic daily and glutamine. After getting better, you may try to change the dosages of L-Glutamine and Probiotics and see how you adapt to lower dosages to try to save money.

Since many if not all IBS people are prone to getting E.Coli overgrowth again, you will have to keep on taking L-Glutamine and Probiotics for the rest of your life. I am on this treatment for 1 year and now I eat Pizza, Junk food, Spicy food, drink sodas and Coca-Colas and am totally normal as I was before. I will not say I am cured because it must be an auto-immune disease, but you may keep it in check and be 100% normal by just taking this for the rest of you days ( L-Glutamine and Probiotics).

I have tried previously all know medications for IBS, Antidepressants, anxiolytics , antispasmodics, tried acupuncture, etc. and I was only 30% better, because this medicines do not fix the problem, the just drug your gut to numbness…

This treatment will take around 6 months to reach 100% improvement, but you will notice improvements after 2 months, so be patient.

Good Luck to all and may god help you!

Hi suffering from ibs since age 21 IM now 53 and no help. IM on elavil and nexium. I live in the Bahamas and we have no test for sibo. I suffer from c and d and worse after antibiotics. I cant find any l-glutamine tablets under 500 mg how can you only take 30 mg like you say? where would i find those? I have been taking phillips colon health for probiotic but it makes my ibs worse.

Hi, meurice means 30 gram. Not 30 mg. Powder is better to buy for using this amount daily. Otherwise with tablet or capsules you should swallow many capsules to meet 30 grams daily.

Hi, If I have written somewhere 30 mg, then it is my mistake, it is a typo on my behalf.

The recommended dosage of L glutamine is between 10 to 30 Grams.

Powder form or pills is the same, but in powder form it is cheaper.

       Good Luck

    Hi Maurice

Can you please tell me if you take L Glutamine on an empty stomach? There is a lot of info on the net that says must be taken with a meal and just as much to say must have any empty stomach! Please confirm how you do it.

HI, you can take it on an empty or a full stomach. Empty would be better for better Absorption but some people do not feel well on an empty stomach. So you will have to check if you can take it on an empty stomach. If you do not feel well taking it on an empty stomach, then take it with meals.

Hi Maurice, I know it's been a long time since you posted so I hope you get this message. Thank you so much for sharing your treatment plan! I have a couple of questions if that's ok. Did you modify your diet while initially following the treatment plan? (I've done the antibiotics and my repeat SIBO test came back negative, I'm now doing probiotics and l-Glutamine, and am on a Fodmap/SCD diet). And my second question - have you remained healed? Thank you, Amanda

Hi, In the begining of the treatment I have sticked with healty food that was ok for my IBS.  Then during my inprovement during the months I have introduced some trigger foods and tested myself to see how I was going. In the begining of the treatment, just stick to you diet for IBS then during the months you can SLOWLY ramp up the trigger food into you diet to see your evolution. I am still 100% heatly until this day and IBS free. It has already been almor 2 years with IBS free and no symptoms. I can say that I have cured mysef. Good Luck

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, it's really kind of you. I'm so pleased to hear you're still doing so well. Your story has given me hope for my own recovery - and for that I am incredibly grateful. Thank you, Amanda

Hi guys, I am on the way of this plan for around a month. It is around two weeks I sleep very well. and my stomach cramps and bloating decreased to around 30 percent of before.I will be on this way to reach zero percent of symptoms. I will be in touch with you. I hope it is not accidentally.

Thank you for update. Other than cramps and bloating, did you have C or D before you start this plan?

Actually I just knew my symptoms. The stool is unstable too. Most of time diarreha and other time constipation. My doctor as my stool test which I had a very low Secretory IgA told me that your gut should be renew and suggest me some medicine that did not work . I was also tired most of the time. All of symptoms are getting better by this method. My sleeping quality completely has got Ok with. I hope all symptoms get cured completely.

      Hi nixman

Do you take L Glutamine as part of your plan?

    • Posted

Yes, of course. L-glutamin is very important for repairing the gut.

Hey Maurice, I just finished a dose of xifaxan and feel like it helped but didn't do the trick. I will continue taking probiotic and will add L glutamine as well. When emus best to take the Glutamine? Also, is it in pill or powder form? Any recommended brands?

Well I've been taking L Glut since Easter - no improvement noticed. Just finished 20 day course of vsl - no improvement noticed :-( anyone any suggestions?

Hiya, sorry to hear that. I just keep holding onto (and re-reading for comfort!) Maurice's original statement that we should start to notice an improvement after 2 months (and then reach full healing after 6 months). I think he said he'd been ill for 3 years, so it may take a little longer if you've been unwell longer (that's just me speculating). I've been on l-Glutamine since the start of the year, and started probiotic on 29th April... and am actually a bit worse recently. I'm hoping this is die-off, but plan to repeat my SIBO breath test next weekend. Have you been tested?

Thanks Amanda. I have had it longer than all of you that's true, but... I would expect to see some improvements by now. I've taken various probiotics over the years and had a lot of improvement. I don't think vsl has done anything for me.

      What is SIBO?

Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth, it's tested for with a breath test. If you've found other probiotics more helpful, it may be worth switching back to one of those maybe. I've been making my own probitoic yoghurt - happy to give you more info if that tempts you. Amanda

What about the large intestine? That's not tested?

I must say I'm sceptical now as I read on many other sites it's not the amount of biotics that matter but the variety. I'm going to try sauerkraut again I thought I noticed some improvement with that.

Anyone else reading - I don't recommend vsl.
