100% WORKING TREATMENT for my IBS!

Hi, I am writing this to try to help everybody that I can because I have been on the same boat as you guys and gone through this living hell for 3 years!!!  Short description about my previous case was that I could almost eat nothing, only eat what is normally designated for IBS menu, I was always feeling that I had to go to the Bathroom, I would have IBS-D attacks daily, even taking a lot of Imodium would not work totally, painful bowel cramps, the whole works… I could go on with the list…but you guys already know what are the symptoms from personal experience.

Doctors give this autoimmune disease the name of IBS because they are totally clueless of why this happens, so they just grab all the symptoms and put them in one bag calling it IBS… to me it is just the doctors another way of saying they are clueless but they don´t want to show it to us so they won´t look bad.

Dr. Pimentel who has come up with the theory about SIBO is the cause makes me think that he is correct, this is the only one doctor that had a clue.

Now for the Treatment that I used daily :

From 10 gram to 30 grams of L-Glutamine, to repair the damaged intestinal mucosa and lining. Repairing this will block big food particles from entering the blood stream directly due to the holes in the intestinal lining cause by the bad bacteria.

12 billion Probiotic daily at least, start by using the 50 billion probiotic and then after seeing results you may try to decrease to cheaper probiotics, but don´t go below 10 billion.

Using the SIBO treatment first if desired:

Use Xifaxan ( Rifaximin) antibiotic to wipe out the bad bacteria but this will also wipe out the good bacteria ( check for Dr. Pimentel’s SIBO treatment). While you are doing this, I advise you to take probiotics daily to compensate the bacterial slaughter in the intestines. You can also start L-Glutamine ate the same time to repair the intestinal mucosa and Lining.

After the Xifaxan Treatment, keep on taking the heavy duty 50 billion probiotic daily and glutamine. After getting better, you may try to change the dosages of L-Glutamine and Probiotics and see how you adapt to lower dosages to try to save money.

Since many if not all IBS people are prone to getting E.Coli overgrowth again, you will have to keep on taking L-Glutamine and Probiotics for the rest of your life. I am on this treatment for 1 year and now I eat Pizza, Junk food, Spicy food, drink sodas and Coca-Colas and am totally normal as I was before. I will not say I am cured because it must be an auto-immune disease, but you may keep it in check and be 100% normal by just taking this for the rest of you days ( L-Glutamine and Probiotics).

I have tried previously all know medications for IBS, Antidepressants, anxiolytics , antispasmodics, tried acupuncture, etc. and I was only 30% better, because this medicines do not fix the problem, the just drug your gut to numbness…

This treatment will take around 6 months to reach 100% improvement, but you will notice improvements after 2 months, so be patient.

Good Luck to all and may god help you!

HI everybody, I am glad to see that everybody here is helping out eachother during my abscence. I have passed hear all my experience and knowledge about this case and hope that all of you can fill in with your experiences and help out your fellow briothers and sisters.

I am until this day still living a normal life and 100% IBS free and 100% IBS cured.

I have high hopes that all of you will acheive the same results as me.

Just keep on with your treatment and help out others with your experiences because my treatment is not one size fits all and will maybe need some minor tweaks to help out others since not everybody reacts the same to the same high dosages of glutamine or pro biotics, even the brands may work diferently on some others. So please help out everybody here that is asking for an helping hand. Good luck to you all smile

It's great to hear your story. Sharing it on this forum is so important. Many people will benefit. Looks like we are on the same page.

As a young girl I was addicted to all the wrong foods. I also take L-glut and probiotics from yogurt daily. I started with yogurt 30 years ago and continued ever since. Stopped the IBS in in tracks .

Its a life style choice. Plus it give a life full of pain the freedom to go anywhere knowing you don't need to stop at al the rest rooms in route to your destination. I eat a normal healthy diet that is the key. I don't eat out period, there the worst offenders never know what is in the restaurant food. No junk foods, fried foods or sugars. I eat yogurt every dayfresh foods. & cook all my own foods from scratch. No more worrying about making it out shopping without that restroom list! That was way before there was a name for IBS. Amazing how sometime we just stumble along a fix for our bodies. I just knew when I ate yogurt the IBS stopped. That was before all the flavored yogurts it was plain no sugars.

Thats my story hoping that between the 2 of us and others that have joined the band wagon can find relief , So glad you found relief from IBS.

    Congrats to you! confused

Hey I just wonder that did you follow any special diet when you were taking l-glutamin and probiotic in the beginning or later? Or there was any food we shouldnt eat while doing this treatment in the beginning or a week or a month or later?

Needing some support and encouragement! I've been taking l glutamine 30g for about 2 weeks and at 20 for about 3 - no improvement to bloating (which is my only IBS symptom now) seen. I've also been taking the vsl3 for 2 days with no improvement. How long before these expensive treatments work?

Hiya, well done for reaching out and for trying the treatment. You wouldn't really expect to see a probiotic making a difference after just a couple of days though. If my understanding is right, the l-Glutamine will be working away in the background healing damaged stomach and intestinal cells - it will be working, but you may not notice anything for a while. I've been going for three weeks now - and actually noticed the worst die-off symptoms (good sign) started at around two weeks in and I think are just starting to lessen. I think VSL says it takes around 20 days to fully colonize, so the levels of good bacteria will be building up until then. Bloating could be die off too of course - so they may already be killing off any bad bacteria. Stick with it. I'm going to give this another 4 weeks before I try something different (I'll keep doing this, but I'll look at a different diet amendment from the one I'm doing). Stick with it, I know it's tough. Thanks Amanda. I didn't realise the vsl takes 20 days to colonise - I will stick with it for that long at least.

How long have you suffered with IBS for?

Hiya, you're welcome. The VSL info says:

'It is recommended to take VSL#3 for at least one month to see the best benefit. In general it takes up to seven days of taking VSL#3 for the bacteria colonies to become established in the gut. By day 20 the maximum concentration of bacteria will have colonised the gut, this level remains stable while you continue to use VSL# and up to three weeks after discontinuing it.'

I've been suffering with IBS for coming up to five and a half years now - such a nightmare. You?

I've had it for 14 years 🙁 I had all the symptom initially but I now only have bloating. But I just can't seem to 'beat the bloat' despite taking digestive enzymes too.

Out of interest is there something that happened to you that triggered it?

Whilst waiting for the other reply to be moderated...

Is there something you can pinpoint that triggered your IBS Amanda?

Gosh my friend is 7 months pregnant and let's just say my belly is sticking out much further than hers today!

Hiya, yes - I had acute gastroenteritis and just never got better! The gastroenteritis wasn't even that bad, I didn't think anything of it at the time. Sorry to hear about your bloating! I'm completely with you though, I'm more bloated these last few days than I have been in ages (which I'm taking to be die-off still... fingers crossed!).

Interesting I believe mine started after something similar. Unfortunately I was in the canaries and the dr didn't speak English so didn't get a diagnosis but I was violently ill for about 3 days and then the IBS began.

i now believe bad bacteria took hold of my digestive system during that sickness and it's been a nightmare trying to correct the balance.

Ugh - sorry to hear you've been ill for so long. I think you're right, bad bacteria take over, and damage is done to the digestive system cells, and then trying to repair the damage and restore the balance can be so incredibly difficult. I developed SIBO too, but I think my recent course of herbal antibiotics has cured that - for now at least. Hopefully we'll get there - and hopefully soon! I'll keep you updated with how I get on.

Thanks Amanda I am hoping to see you update soon and that you say you're improving.

Maurice hello, whats the exact L-glutamine product you used and how many times a day would you take it? Before, after or during meals?

Same goes for the probiotics, was it before, during or after meals?

Would you say to take the Xifaxan first or is taking th glutamine and the probitics a good start. My fear is that, by killing the bacteria in my system, the recovery process might not be 100%.

You opinion would be very much appreciated. Ive had IBS for 6 months now and Dustpatalin is the only thing keeping the pain away. I have IBS-C and passing stool regularly is effecting me. I want to get off the Dustpatalin

Maurice may not answer you, since your questions were answered many times in the thread. If you read the posts, you should be very cautious to take L-glutamine because you have IBS-C.

You may try to change your diet first, see if it can relieve your symptoms, it worked very well to me.

Eat 2 steamed carrots each meals

Eat small bowl soup with each meal

Drink warm water all day long

      Each more veg and fruit
