Hi, Gavin. I have been on Mirtz twice for severe depression. It was a lifesaver for me as it was introduced with the effexor I was already taking, that wasn't doing the job. the Mirtz helped enormously and I gained my weight back, my appetite and slept very well. There are clearly some people who have side effects, but I have not experience those. I am just concerned as my pharmacy just told me I am two weeks early for my refill and are forcing me to go cold turkey.

Jane that's awful !! No way can it be right to CT from Mirt. Where do you live? I hope you can speak to your doctor to write up another prescription for you asap.
Best wishes.

Hi Dawn
I havn't done that myself; why do you want to try this method I wonder? Are you having start-up symptoms?
When you say 'wobbly' do ou mean sedated or something else?

Hi.Been on Mirt for 7 weeks at 15 mg and 2 1/2 at 30mg.What I"m doing is taking 15mg in the morning and 15mg at night.I take it in the morning to help with depression thru out the day.The night time dose still seems to be helping with my sleep, although I noticed it doesn't pack the punch it did.God Bless You,Bob

Sorry I didn't reply eatlier just saw this post today.Maybe it's a blessing I did see it today rather than 2 weeks ago because 2 weeks ago I would have said no,but having been on Mirt at 30mg(15 in the morning,15 at night) for 4 1/2 weeks now I defininately notice a difference for the better.I still have a ways to go but I am now hopeful.Keep the faith!! God Bless You,Bob
