6 weeks of constant headaches - no relief / going crazy

Hi everyone. I'm after some possible insight / advice on what I'm currently going through. I will go through as many symptoms as possible, although I'm aware some might be from something different entirely. I started getting a heavy pressure at the back of my head around 6/7 weeks ago, was primarily at the back and kind of felt like my head had a big weight hanging from the back and someone was pushing hard against my skull from the inside. In the next few days this was accompanied by very frequent and fairly severe headaches. These have now been part of my life for the past 6 weeks. The headaches and pains I get differentiate. Mostly it's a dull throbbing at the back of my head. But recently quite often I get what I can only explain as a very sore burning pain on a small area of my forehead and sides of head. I get pains on both sides although i would probably crown the right side for most pain caused. I do get dizzy when I stand up from a relaxed position and have noticed that my face goes red a lot now, as if I've stepped indoors from cold to boiling. I have no energy to do any exercise and feel constantly fatigued and tired. My sleep isn't great as I wake up a lot through the night (may I add that it's not the headaches that wake me up, they seem non existent as I sleep and for the first half hour in the morning when I awake. But from then on its relentless. Painkillers do jack squat, even co-codomol doesn't touch it when that used to be my saving grace whenever I got a bad head. This is much different to headaches I have had before. Last think as well. I went to watch my football team play today and tried to do a warm up with them. Since then my head ache is worse and my brow and temples feel bruised and tender to touch.
I apologise for the length of this but i didn't want to leave much out. I hope someone is able to helps with this as it's wearing me out now... Physically and mentally. Got an MRI on weds but I know results can take a while. Was just hoping for some feedback before hand.
Thanks for reading. Take care all.

My 4th Doc who is a renowned Neurologist has diagnosed it as Migraine and has given me olfen-diclofenac which is NSAID and creates stomach pain. Whenever I take medicine, I don't feel pain for 5-6 Hrs but it starts again. After googling I found that "Hemicrania Continua" is a disorder and there is no permanent cure for it. Don't know till what time I have to bear this pain. Hoping for more replies n results.

called Indocin. It to can be rough on the stomach so is prescribed with 2 stomach meds to protect it. I have not had any problems with it though. It comes in a dose as low as 25mg, which is what I'm starting on. I've had a little
relief so far and am told as it builds up I'll see even more. The Mayo clinic as well as John's Hopkins both have info on this
condition and recommend the same med. I pray you find
some relief. I've been miserable for so long and was losing
hope until i saw this migraine specialist. i have a horrible
Disequilibrium with mine and lose my balance quite easy. I'm
hoping this will save me.

So I end up going to the ER and they just treated it like a Tension headache. I was fine when they gave me some heavy drug and put me to sleep but when the medicine wear out, the headache came right back.. They run a CT scan on me and it came out at I had a cyst in my brain. But then they ran a MRI and they stated that everything was fine. That again I was having a tension headache.
They prescribed me Tylenol 3 with codeine, which made me vomit my guts out and still did not work, only put me to sleep. Then they prescribed me butalbital/acetaminophen/caff 40 MG which just made me nauseus and still I had the severe head ache.
Every time I end up in the ER, all they want to do is give me something to put me to sleep. They told me to make a apportment with a neurologist and maybe he or she can help me because they could not do anything more other than give me IV and sedate me.
The pain is horrible, from the middle of my head to my whole neck. I go to sleep with the headache and wake up with the headache. Sometimes it hurts more when I lay down so I end up sleeping sitting up. I just want this pain to go away. I end up making a appointment with the neurologist two weeks from now. But just the thought of having to spend two more weeks with the pain it's very drepressing. I just hope that he or she is able to help get rid if this pain.
i am very sorry for the pain that you going throu, and that I hope everything turns out good for you and that you get to find a cure for your pain.
Thankz
Tamara

She gave me migraine medicine it also didn't work. I've taken every over the counter pain reliever. I've had mine for 3 weeks now. Have you heard of anything yet?

This sounds exactly like the problem I am having. How are you doing? Did the headaches concluded? Did they diagnosed you what your problem was?
I will greatly appreciate your answers.. I am extremely worried and I want to follow any advice.

I'm 50 and have been growing more lethargic and irritable over the past decade, not my resilient self and increased ADD tendencies which hindered me where it used to almost be my " super power" to get things done. Insomnia so bad I have been on the couch for a year so I don't bother Hubby. Mysterious symptoms would cycle....first eye twitches and broken vessels in my eye for a few months unexplained by eye doc, then ulcer like feeling which left just as I scheduled a visit with a specialist, short term memory issues cycled, then the headaches....many of my symptoms mimicked menopause, stress reactions and just plain aging. When the headache started it would be on my right side above and behind my ear. It was almost like an alarm clock at 1 am each night.....I was researching cluster headaches
