6 weeks since abdominal surgery, still no period?

Hi,

It's been 6 weeks since abdominal surgery to remove two benign tumours from my pelvis (outside of my uterus and ovaries).

I still haven't had a normal period and I'm eager to begin trying for a baby.

Has anyone else had this type of surgery and experience issues with your menstrual cycle after surgery? How long was it it until your period arrived?

Any help would be much appreciated 😉😉

    It sounds like you received good news?  Did she think the fluid is from the cysts bursting?  I've heard that happens in most situations.  I understand your anxiety, I get nervous too.  Keep trying for that baby and keep thinking positive.  The fluid will probably be gone at your next visit :>)

      Hello Rhonda I'm not sure if the comment about the cysts bursting was for me? She didn't say and she said she couldn't compare 1st scan results as this was a new scan ? She said sometimes it comes from Fallopian tube next to ovary but I didn't think she knew I had simple cysts on that ovary either in Novembers scan ? But I had a 3.4 cm and a 1.8 cm simple cysts but not sure if she knew this.i hope it was just the cysts bursting but I've not had bad pain like they say when they rupture.im going to Drs today to discuss will let you know and thank you Michelle xx
