lexapro has done wonders for me. i do not have depression but have extreme mood swings and anxiety. i am actually able to break the 10 mg in half. i only take about 5mg. the only downfall is that it did kill my libido. i wholeheartedly agree that one can not understand this without living through it. mental illness is worse than physical sometimes.

      good morning Albert

Glad that you are having success on lexapro.

Are you on the generic version called escitalopram or the brand name lexapro?

Just curious because for years i was on citalopram and always believed it to be lexapro.

That worked wonders for me until I ran out and when I got back on it i had no success.

I am now on escitalopram which is lexapro but feel no relief 3 weeks in.

I am attempting other aides such as meditation, reading "AT LAST A LIFE" and free your mind. I am also attending therapy to figure out what exactly is going on.

I keep praying one day I will feel something that shows me I am getting better!!

      have a great day!
