I had a partial knee replacement 6 months ago. I am very discouraged with recovery. I still have pain especially at night when in bed. I have 2 more pt sessions and told I’m doing well. I still need cane but trying to wean myself off of it.  Had X-ray and told everything is fine. Does it take longer to recover?

After reading well over 3,000 posts on here over two years, it seems that recovery from a PKR is just as long (a full year) and as difficult (pain, sleeplessness, non-linear path, etc.) as a TKR.  Discouragement is not an option.  This takes time, work and patience.  Click my name and then "See All Discussions".  I hope there are topics that can help you.
