I woke up achy today- hips/pelvis, thighs, Shoulders/neck, arms, and now I'm just scared that the medication isn't working 
Am I just being unrealistic about how well I should be feeling? I've been on 10 mg for 13 days. Am I just going to have bad days for a while?

The happy/sad roller coaster was more pronounced on 10mg/day pred. Higher and lower and shorter waves. Is this really me? Hardly noticeable on 5mg/day. Much more even and relaxed.
I guessed some of it is that chronic anything is wearing, but also for me possibly a large proportion a pred side effect. Pred is not benign.
Undiagnosed and untreated was uncertain and painful, but I felt in control. Diagnosed and treatment started was scary. Lots of change. A voyage of discovery in uncharted waters.
