Additional Symptoms of Tietze's Syndrome

I have been suffering from Tietze's Syndrome for over three months now and every day i'm experiencing additional symptoms.

Now I know I'm probably suffering from Anxiety as well as the above, but I just thought id tell you what other symptoms i'm experiencing to see if it relates to anyone else out there.

As well as getting a painful chest along the breast bone, i'm having palpitations, numb arms, sore neck, back and ribs, muscle twitching, headaches, sore ears along with what feels like palpitations in my ears, tiredness, sharp pains around the nipples area, sore stomach and pains at the bottom of the rib cage.

My pain in my chest comes and goes, I wouldn't describe it as a constant pain, just the odd sharp shooting pain along with what feels like my chest being stretched at times, very odd, but according to the rheumatologist this is symptoms of Tietze's Syndrome.

Let me know if you are experiencing any symptoms that are similar to mines as this would put my mind at rest!

I have the pain in the chest, pain in arms, neck, shoulder blades, head, breasts, and stomach issues. I've also been told I have a hiatal hernia, Barrett's esophagus, and gerd from a recent scope. He does say the chest pain shouldn't be caused by any of that. I also have diverticulitis, and IBS oh and horrible health anxiety that started when the chest pains did. I Google everything. I've been worried for months now. I hate it. I have no idea which symptoms go to what abd it drives me nuts.

      Elaine,

At the start I had dizzyness although I didn’t feel like I was going to fall, it was a strange sensation if I’m being honest.

Yeah I’ve basically been bedbound for roughly three months, not able to enjoy my life like I used to, really annoying!

Has anybody else got a lump between their collarbone and breast? Mine isn’t visible to see, but is tender to touch and after touching it it becomes tender. Does anybody else have this? Or know what it is

I have several lumps. My doctor says it's the cartilage and it's normal. I had a mammogram and ultrasound to check for cancer because of the costo pain. The tests said normal. I thought about having an MRI of the chest because that would show what the lumps are exactly but I'm in the hospital for something else currently so...

ITs a relief that someone else has the lumps aswell, I have the one. Plus I’m only 17, so the chances is very rare anyway. But still, this costochondritis is just making me anxious about every little things. Haven’t had much chest pains over the last couple days. Just my arms keep going achey. But I’m not fully recovered yet anyway. Hope everything goes ok at the hospital x

Is your lump normal but the. When pressed on becomes slightly painful? Mine was ok but today when I’ve pressed on it it’s been sending shooting pains around the area. It’s between the collarbone and breast

Mine went, but then came back I think it’s due to pressing on it to be honest. Because it did go and it didn’t hurt st all but then came back

My lump went, for around a week. And has now came back. It’s not a lump as such though because it actually feels like a rib, because it’s on the right side aswell. But the left side feels inflamed. So I’m not worrying too much. I’m only taking paracetamol. As my pain is only mild. It’s actually the other side effects of costochondritis that is nagging. I’m going for blood tests tomorrow and should find out the results sometime next week which is worrying me as I’m expecting to find out there’s something seriously wrong. But I think maybe that’s the anxiety as with each day I am feeling slightly better. I’m only 17 aswell so the results should be ok, at least that’s what everyone is telling me

I have had dizzy spells also and just never would have thought it was related to the cosco also and the anxiety is horrible. I find myself one day thinking this cosco is horribly painful then the next day thinking that’s not it at all and it has to be something horrible. Ugh

So sorry to everyone going through this.
