After H Pylori

Hi everyone,I have posted here before,I have been treated for h pylori,antibiotics and lansoprazole.Prior to treatment I had complete loss of appetite and loss of weight.Although by force feeding I am keeping my weight between 117 pounds and 118.I still have no appetite,most worrying is I am losing body fat,I am so skinny,weak,tired of fighting this,feel like giving up at times.I have a appt to see specialist but that is nearly two months away,I do not think I will make it that long.I was a size 14 now size 8-10.my skin is wrinkled,I am now just getting over vaginal thrush,but now have soreness around that area and itchy rear end.I just wonder if I might have a different infection caused by h pylori,or it has damaged my tummy so badly.I am small framed so it is very obvious of my fat loss,now wear big jumpers etc as people ask what is wrong with me all the time,has anyone ever experienced this? I would be so greatfull for any advice .Thank you.

    I have been dealing with this for 10 years now, no one could figure out what was wrong I had been tested at the hospital and the docs office and test came up negative, well the problem got worse so I was referred to a specialist he did an endoscopy and did biopsies of my stomach and small intestine, I tested positive for h pylori and gastritis I was prescribed strong antibiotics after the medicine I felt a little better I could smell and taste things now it was like a veil had been lifted I was so happy, BUT... sadly my symptoms have returned full force I have been bed bound for almost 2 weeks now I cant eat, drink or sleep and I can barely walk the pain is soo excruciating sometimes I cant even sit I have to lay and in real tuff times no matter what I do or what I take it never goes away, so I have an appt today to go back to the doc, as each day goes im getting weaker and weaker I had an appt on the 17th but I know I cannot make until then so I called and I go today, wish me luck and lots of prayers, I need some relief living in pain makes me not want to live anymore its sad but true. I hope yall get better as well and ill be prayin for yall as well. Thank ya

      What was the result at the doc? Any relief? Thanks for the prayers and I’ll do the same. I’ve got another. appointment with a rhemotologist that said if everything was fine with my tests she wouldn’t ask to see me again. So could have connective tissue disease. Bacteria has been eradicated, but still getting hives and have had indigestion and heartburn consistently for a few weeks now.

    If anyone is still actively on this site I’d like to know how everyone is doing. I myself have got this nasty bug and let it go on to long I’m on my 5th day now of the triple therapy. I hope with the faith of god that I get better after.
