Posted , 7 users are following.

Hi, am new to this forum. My husband has COPD. We live in the UK and the humidity is very high at the moment. Can anyone point me in the right direction re air cons/humidifiers. Mick is really suffering with the heat and humidity.

Hi some simple easy tips. Get a hand fan. You can get a lot of batteries in the Pound shop so it's cheap. Get a spray bottle and fill it with cold water. Also putting cold water on the veins of the wrist help cool the blood which is circulating. Just get a couple of pads soaked in water or ice (be careful of ice burns so maybe wrap ice in a tea towel or something). Holding this on the wrists for 20 minutes at a time should really help. No more than 20 minutes then have a break. x
