All 6 doctors say everything looks ok!!

I've had inner ear infections from time to time all my life (I'm 70). In April 2013 I had my left knee replaced. I was fine till the young boy who pushed my bed from recovery to my room. He thought it was a race. I was dizzy and throwing up by the time I got to my room. This presisted for 5 months. Every once in awhile I'll get the symptoms when sitting or laying down but mostly if I get up and move around for more then 5 or 10 mins. I have to sit and wait for it to pass. Just thought it was inner ear. Well, it started again about 4 mos ago. Went to GP who treated for inner ear. Didn't help at all. He sent me to an ENT. He did an MRI of my brain. Nothing. He sent me to a neurologist. He said there was a shadow on the MRI so did 2 more. Finally said there was a cyst on my spine. Sent me to a Neurological Surgeon. (Oh and my GP sent me for an endoscopy because she thinks it;s my stomach...no way. Found nothing). The surgeon looked at all the MRI's, Cat Scan. She said the cyst was small and not a problem. She sent me to another ENT who does work with Vestibular issues. They did the test for that. Called me today and said....inner ear is normal. No idea! I can't walk through my house without getting nauseous and dizzy. What do I do now? I own a 24/7/365 Answering Service...for 37 yrs. If no one can tell me anything I'm just going to assume that God has a reason for this and wait for the answer. Any ideas?

I have a lifetime of problems with the spine, inner ear, migraine, balance etc. I am NOT A DOCTOR, nor do I profess to know what is wrong with you, as I have never met you, nor do I know your medical history. What I would say is that all the usual things like BPPV, mini stroke after surgery should have been ruled out with your further tests at Neuro and ENT.
I would, therefore, be interested to know if you perhaps had an epidural for your surgery and also where the cyst is located. Rather than have you reply and then me write back - if these all add up, so to speak, I might suggest that the cyst, though small, could be something called a TARLOV CYST. If it is, it can be caused by epidural injection, or a previous one, it can make you nauseous, dizzy, off balance, and also cause headaches - spinal headaches (migraine). Of course, the cysts can form without epidural and all along the spine at any level, but as you mentioned surgery.
As I have already said, I am NOT A DOCTOR, and this is a shot in the dark, from your brief original summary. But, I had to reply to you - all the very best. I hope it all works out for the best.

It is so frustrating when you are faced with health issues that can not be answered. Keep trying. .it can't be just nothing? I wish you the best in finding the issue.
