I've just phoned the ward and have to go in at 9am instead of 7am.  Better for my son who will be taking me.  They will do the admission procedure in a side room until my bed is ready then that's the bed I'll be going to theatre in.  I'm very relieved it's not going to be postponed or cancelled.  See you all on the other side eek

    Good Luck for the op and hope it all goes well, and will hear how you get on.

    I'm at 2 weeks post op today so right here with you through the recovery process.

    getting ready for this big day ?  Now you can just surrender ... your son will pick you up and once you are in his car, on your way to the hospital, check in, something will be lifted off you - well, that was my experience ... 

    Graham has done a wonderful job listing all the things important - You will be able to do so much more than you think - 

    remember that you are not alone ... come her anytime ..
