    Dear Ann

Just got back from my morning walk and have read your posting.

Good luck with the op which is probably all done now and you've woken up in recovery wondering what all the worry was about!

Best wishes for a swift and pain free recovery.

    Cheers Richard

Ann  au surgeon told me it would be spinal with a general. Anestatist told me it would be sedation. I told him no and to check with my surgeon. He came back and said ok so I had a general. I am told that with sedation you will not remember anything. Good luck Hun xxx

I had a spinal with a general to give the surgeon plenty of time if the revision had complications and it worked well for me.

Ann, I really understand how you feel. I hope that when you read this, you will be recovering well. I'm sitting thinking about you. Please let me know how you are. Everyone kept saying to me, oh you'll be fine, I wanted to hit them. I won't say that to you( but you will, you know)

The joy of being pain free is so good. Xx

Ann hope you are done and back in the ward. I had mine done three weeks ago this Thursday I was up and walking to the toilet that evening.

Just do what they tell you and don't do too much.

    Ann,

Hope all went well, I'm sure it did. I'm two weeks post op and feel great, to be honest the worst part for me was coming out of GA, I was sick for hours and needed to bring a bag with me whenever I went to use the potty. So maybe the spinal is better.
