All these recipes I see for detox way too difficult

I was looking online for things to help my hangover in some of the recipes and just ridiculous I could barely even peel an egg this morning.

My diet for tonight will be one banana and saltines. Cold turkey detoxing is the worst and I'm aware of the dangers of it which makes it even more scary

Hi everyone. Well I slept well last night after after 3 nights of no sleep whatsoever ever and thinking I was going to die in my sleep with the horrendous symptoms I had. Took a sleeping tablet. Slept 13 hours. Have managed to eat today and after tapering on beer for 2 days I've not had to drink anything today so completely stopped. I ache all over and have stayed in bed until this evening. My legs feel reall heavy and ache, still sweating, still a bit shakey but sooo much better than yesterday. So feeling positive on my day 1. Hope you are feeling a bit better this evening misssy and Susan . Keep going we will stay sober xx

Well done you. Hope you're all feeling a bit better. It's mine and my sons birthday today and I've not drunk, so feeling pleased. Two months ago I was a total mess and wouldn't have known or cared what day it was. Life does get better sober!

Thank Vickylou. Yesterday I was convinced I was dying as my face was really flushed with a rash all over and was having panic attacks and convinced my liver was swollen as my tummy looked bigger! Plus my eyes were stinging and red, face looked yellow to me. Plus lots of other stuff.

Fantastic you've had a great birthday and your son, well it was probably the best present you could give him xx

Happy Birthday to you and your son....that's cool that you have the same birthdays. And even cooler that you were sober (I'm sure he is very pleased about that as well).  At 2 months sober...you have to be looking MUCH better too.  What a gift...sobriety is a gift...never let it go!

Paper congratulations on the completion of your taper.

I know what pain you are in and I hope it passes...mine is lingering.  I just woke up here it is abotut 850....feel like garbage...but not like I did yesterday...Did your friend every bring you those Lorazepams? Those would help.

Glad you're keeping in touch and know how you're feeling. Paper fairy was thinking of buying lorazepam online. Did you buy online PF?

Hi. I didn't get the lorazepam as he doesn't live near me . He said he's got 6 but I've managed without anyway.

So today I've been up and about and got my appetite back so that's great!

Hope you're beginning to feel better misssy. And Vickylou, great that you're doing so well xx
