Aloe Vera Gel with Tumeric Essential OiI - Best healing ever!

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was so sad that I seemed to have had a backslide and shocking fusing beginning. WELL! I want to share with you all my wonderful turn around.
I stopped in at my Coop and tentatively asked one of the nutritional experts there about skin diseases "down there". The man I like there is an older fellow and very warm hearted. He instantly gently said, Oh, you have lichen? and told him my tale that Vitamin D etc protocol was working internally and that castor oil had been very helpful externally, but not anymore etc.
He, Toby told me about Aloe Vera gel and to mix a tablespoon with 3 or 4 drops of Tumeric Essential Oil. he shared a couple stories and even that he has Oral Lichen and he controls it with swishing with the liquid aloe daily. I took the tumeric home to add to my aloe.
I read up on both of those online - amazing verifiable data on them. Anyway, long story short, this mixture is a friggin' miracle! within a day the fusing was unfusing and I was out of pain again... and I think the thickened skin at my perineum is even getting back to softer.
I've waited a bit to share with you all; I wanted to be sure it was for real. By all means read up on these two things. Oh OH! and along with that mixture, I have also read an article from a doctor that indicates that they think more important than the creams we use it appears to be the massaging in that helps the most! Blessings, Nancy

That sounds amazing Nancy. I've never even heard of turmeric essential oil though. I'm living Vietnam at the moment, and while fresh turmeric is in abundance, I think I'll have a hard time finding it in essential oil format. That won't stop me from having a look though. Thanks for posting!

Hi Lynn, I think Toby said about 3-4 drops of Tumeric Essential Oil to one tablespoon of aloe vera gel. maybe he said 2 teaspoons but I've gotten so I just eyeball it. If you make up to much for the day it will probably dry up if you don't cover it. the tumeric does not sting, but maybe i got too many drops one time and it kinda tingled only on my clit though and quit soon. Lynn I have transitioned to ONLY using this mixture so I sue it whenever I feel the need for more protection as well as healing down there. I haven't had the need for stronger barrier like zinc in a while, but of course for any gals who are currently in open wound distress I'm sure you can mix and match for comfort levels.

I just started using 100% Aloe Vera Gel last week. I have terrible dryness in my urethra because of no estrogen after being taken off HRT. I believe this is what triggered my LS. I use it 3 times a day and theres a definite improvement, Can't use any steroid creams or moisturisers from Docs. Too many side effects

Hi Jacqueline, I really believe hormones play a big part in this disease but at 64 they won't put me back on it and the pessary and cream hormones give me bad side effects, so going au natural now

HI Jaqueline, one of the things I always do is to look at the INGREDIENTS list; both the 'active' and the inert or what they call it. I looked this one up and it's active ingredient is a homeopathic level of colloidal silver - sure there are some nice soothing carrier oils in it. but I can't believe that the fat of an emu bird is going to be that much better than other things we can get more easily... just my opinion.

I haven't tried Emuaid at all. I have been using 99% Aloe Vera Gel on its own and for some reason there is a big improvement on white patches. After a month they have significantly reduced, but we need to keep at it

That's really cool to hear, Linda. Great that the aloe alone is so powerful. My white patches are receding as well. But I'm using the whole mixture that Toby told me. Did you not also get the tumeric for some reason? or maybe the expense? thanks

Hi Linda, That is encouraging to hear. I"ve been switching back and forth between Emuaid and aloe with tumeric. Today is aloe day. I hope I see improvement as well. Continued good well being to you.

HI Lindy... well I work at home and I sue a diruetic for my heart.. Sooooo I go pee a lot. but I'm at the point now, months into all this thati don't need to use it every time. I would say that your two times a day is very perfect. BE SURE to do the 90 second massage it in gently - remember everyone that some study finally noticed that the massaging of the clob had as much if not more to do with healing than the clob itself... so ditto for any emollient... I'm just so happy to hear that the aloe is doing a good job for so many of us. Lindy - sometimes these days I don'teven use it al all! amazing. I DO tend to be sure to apply some on my eaay to bed though... or coconut oil
