Aloe Vera Gel with Tumeric Essential OiI - Best healing ever!

Posted , 53 users are following.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was so sad that I seemed to have had a backslide and shocking fusing beginning.  WELL! I want to share with you all my wonderful turn around.

I stopped in at my Coop and tentatively asked one of the nutritional experts there about skin diseases "down there".  The man I like there is an older fellow and very warm hearted.  He instantly gently said, Oh, you have lichen? and told him my tale that Vitamin D etc protocol was working internally and that castor oil had been very helpful externally, but not anymore etc.

He, Toby told me about Aloe Vera gel and to mix a tablespoon with 3 or 4 drops of Tumeric Essential Oil.  he shared a couple stories and even that he has Oral Lichen and he controls it with swishing with the liquid aloe daily.   I took the tumeric home to add to my aloe.

I read up on both of those online - amazing verifiable data on them. Anyway, long story short, this mixture is a friggin' miracle!  within a day the fusing was unfusing and I was out of pain again... and I think the thickened skin at my perineum is even getting back to softer.

I've waited a bit to share with you all; I wanted to be sure it was for real. By all means read up on these two things.   Oh OH! and along with that mixture, I have also read an article from a doctor that indicates that they think more important than the creams we use it appears to be the massaging in that helps the most!  Blessings, Nancy

HI all, I had just been mixing a new batch of aloe with tumeric oil this morning for myself and realized that I posted my discoveries about this about 11 months ago and there are so many new women here you might not have seen it.

I hope this comment brings the subject back up for new conversations. IT really does work the best and most soothing of all the things we've tried, for me anyway. cheers,

      Hi Nancy,

I hope you're doing well! I read your original post about Toby and the aloe + turmeric mixture 14 months ago and have tried it just now!

Just wanted to ask you if it's normal for the mixture to feel warm on the vulva? I made a very weak solution - about 1/4 of a drop of turmeric and 1/2 teaspoon of aloe vera gel (the purest I could find) and applied a very thin film to my labia. That was about 30 minutes ago and although the warmth is subsiding, it's still there. Is this normal?

Also, I wanted to follow up on your progress with this mixture - is it still working for you?

I've tried so many creams (recommended on here) and oils and my skin hates everything apart from aloe and steroid creams, so I'm really hoping this will work.

Thank you for all your help,

      K

Hi There Kalila, ! wow, so happy you are giving it a go. I really have found the aloe mixture to be the best thing for me, but I definitely rotate through a couple others: coconut oil, Vitamin E Oil (health food store in the personal/ beauty section). All three offer different healing/health validated research behind them. It was definitely the thing that worked when other stuff didn't.

haha, Kalila, I'm trying to visualize how you separated one drop of essential oil into 4 tiny parts??? Anyway, in any case 1 drop of tumeric in a 1/2 teaspoon sounds rather strong to me.

What I had been advised was about 3-6 drops in 2 TABLESPOONS of Aloe gel. I use 6 drops and I mix it all up and keep it in a little blue top Gladware plastic custard-sized tight lid. It might take ages to use it up, but it won't dry out if kept in a tight lid. I put it all over whereever I need it, perineum, or the sidewalls of my vulva etc. anus too. It feels lovely cooling to me.

oh, smiles - so, no I don't remember it ever being hot to me. I'm sure it will dissipate tonight. but please do try the recipe strength I was given (sstart with 2 or 3 drops).

Oh, and I've since discovered that frankincense oil works well as well, so if anyone finds their skin doesn't like tumeric, try frankincense instead. Apparently it also has many years of research behind it too.

      Hi Nancy,

Thank you so much for the speedy reply!

The warmth did subside after about an hour. It wasn't terrible, I was just a little concerned. I've had no adverse effects so far so will try it again this week.

I basically dropped one drop of turmeric oil onto a spoon and poured the majority of it onto a tissue so that there was only a very small amount left and used that, mixing it with the aloe. It wasn't a precise 1/4, it was just a guess. I definitely didn't want to use a whole drop and I didn't want to use too much aloe, because it was just a test.

Thanks for the tip about frankincense as well. I will remember that. Thanks for all your help and guidance, it's so appreciated! 😃

    Hi Nancy_K_B,

I have been recently diagnosed with LS, am 66 years old, was on Estradiol after a complete hysterectomy years ago and recently cut my prescription down to hardly anything. I'm curious if the Turmeric and Aloe Vera Gel is still working best for you? I've had a couple of weeks with LS Symptoms, nothing seem to help and that I'd never like to repeat or think about the pain again! I look forward to hearing from you soon! Thank you!

HI Patti! OH yes, the Aloe with tumeric OR frankinsence has been my go to. But I also trad e off with simple coconut oil those that is more for moisturizing. the Aloe and the tumerica and franckinsense all have proven healing properties. Patti, I'm now 75 and was diagnosed about 3 years ago. It took about a year to stabilize everything and read read read about autoimmune disease.

But don't worry, the worst can be over fast if you do a really major sweep of your lifestyle. I'm sure others may have told you that giving up either sugar or wheat or something else is required. For me it's the sugar - though now I can enjoy honey with my oatmeal, BUT, my previous enjoyment of the health food store version of cheetos still cause flare up. - so I just don't.

I don't know if you've seen my articles on that yet, but you can click on my name and it should bring up my profile with those articles that took me three months of reading.

I also very much credit VITAMIN D3 and its cofactors for rebalancing. My Cardiologist had told me previously how deficient we are worldwide in Vitamin D. Actually I don't need the emollients hardly ever anymore, so keep the faith - it'll get better.

Nancy, thank you for responding! Last week was truly painful, today my symptoms are getting lighter! I did read your previous posts and purchased Aloe Vera Gel, Essential Turmeric Oil, Perfume Free Laundry Soap, Perfume Free Bath Gel (Dermatologist recommended), Low Sugar Diet, No Red Meat, Fish or Chicken Only, Hair Shampoo from Thrive Market so it's a Non-GMO, No Dyes etc. I probably sound crazy, trying all these things, but I needed relief fast!

I am using the Clobetasol again, but only a small amount because of it causing thin skin.

I do take Vitamin D3 and Omega Vitamin Supplements, for arthritis, plus Biotin for hair, skin and nails!

I really appreciate you responding to me, it's great to have this forum where we can communicate with each other about LS.

HI ya Biscuit! yeah - me too - actually I really don't know how long it's been but they changed their system up so that we can only read emails if we remember to go to their website and THEN have to sign in twenty five thousand different ways to be sure we aren't a scammer? really? people who are sick want to scam people? they couldn't think of anything better than to make us jump so many hoops that it's simply not worth it any more. THat makes me sad for all the women- and men- who could benefit from the lessons learned from those who came before.

The reason I couldn't get back in was because their new bot insisted that I had to have a secret password or something totally un-rememberable on top of the regular one... BUt they never gave me one to remember and they don't apparently have a link to create one.. talk about Catch 22. I have no idea why all of a sudden I'm allowed to respond to a person who read one of my old letters and now I'm able to respond. I haven't tried to get in on my own again - yet.

OH... it's not bad; I used too strong a word - by flare I meant a bit uncomfortable only a day because I gave into a sweet tooth three days in a row (a no no) - problem resolved - grin.

      Be well, dear one... Nancy

      Hi Nancy,

I hope you are doing better these days. I could not get essential turmeric oil but got liquid turmeric capsules instead with 98% pure aloe. The aloe has a few other things in it but it's about 98% pure. Those two together did not work, burned and had to get it off right away.. Health food place said essential turmeric oi had some bad reports. Where did you get yours? This is no way to live.. Take care. biscuit

OH, Egg biscuit - I'm SO sorry .. and for everyone who has had this LS going on for far too long. I have been well for a long time now. Not that I can go back to eating as much sugar as one might want - nope. I also take a boatload of the vitamin's that I reported on 3 years ago. I haven't let up yet. Interestingly that protocol has really helped my heart as well.

I hate to sound like a broken record but is everyone taking 5,000 iu of Vitamin D3? and lots of magnesium, and zinc, and CoQ10?

I'm wondering if perhaps it is the LDN ( Low Dose Naltrexone) that my cardiologist prescribed for me - that has 40 years of phenomenal pain relief for many conditions that might be what has been most helpful for me? Hum...

has anyone else here asked their physician's about it?

OH! sorry I forgot... My health food coop has a liquid Tumeric brand called Ancient Apothecary. It the tumeric that is so strong. be sure to only use a drop to start in plenty of gel and work slowly up. Blessings, Nancy

      Hi Nancy,

Yes, I am taking those supplements you are taking although not at the same time nor at the same dosages every day. Yes, I s poke to my dr about the low dose naltrexone but she said no. I am using the baking soda spray with a little borax in it. My reg doc gave me another drug. I can't mention supplements or drugs here as the moderator has been deleting all my posts so I doubt you will get this . Let me know if you do

    Hi Nancy/All

Please be aware of aloe vera and check the side effects. I've read that if it is ingested in liquid form long term, it is positively associated with colon cancer xxx

Hi Suzzie... ah. so, I never mentioned ingesting aloe, right?

Please, please don't use scare words - I have been tremendously helped by aloe gel - PURE aloe gel - which is cooling and soothing and has plenty of research behind it.

I also know that my daughter found aloe gel very helpful when she had a problem with constipation I think.. She never took it for very long and learned how to eat so that she didn't get constipation.

Thank you for you comment ...
