Aloe Vera Gel with Tumeric Essential OiI - Best healing ever!

Posted , 53 users are following.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was so sad that I seemed to have had a backslide and shocking fusing beginning.  WELL! I want to share with you all my wonderful turn around.

I stopped in at my Coop and tentatively asked one of the nutritional experts there about skin diseases "down there".  The man I like there is an older fellow and very warm hearted.  He instantly gently said, Oh, you have lichen? and told him my tale that Vitamin D etc protocol was working internally and that castor oil had been very helpful externally, but not anymore etc.

He, Toby told me about Aloe Vera gel and to mix a tablespoon with 3 or 4 drops of Tumeric Essential Oil.  he shared a couple stories and even that he has Oral Lichen and he controls it with swishing with the liquid aloe daily.   I took the tumeric home to add to my aloe.

I read up on both of those online - amazing verifiable data on them. Anyway, long story short, this mixture is a friggin' miracle!  within a day the fusing was unfusing and I was out of pain again... and I think the thickened skin at my perineum is even getting back to softer.

I've waited a bit to share with you all; I wanted to be sure it was for real. By all means read up on these two things.   Oh OH! and along with that mixture, I have also read an article from a doctor that indicates that they think more important than the creams we use it appears to be the massaging in that helps the most!  Blessings, Nancy

Hi Nancy,  Because I am in crisis and a mess down under, I started the Aloe and Tumeric again.  A few days ago I started to use Estradiol, a hormone cream.  Now I am wondering if I am allergic or something because the way I look down under now is not what I looked like before.  I'm wondering if it made the LS worse.  Has anybody else had this issue.  This whole thing is exhausting me.

Should I see a vulva specialist?  Is there any reason to?

Ah here's a new note from you,  Well Susan, Do you actualy have access to a vulva specialist? HOw did ou get the prescription, Estradiol? That same person should be able to help.  YOu might want to read the whole section from the article you sent us someone there is Dee's research that indicates that the combined use of Estradiol and a compounded form of testosterone worked the best for her.. she HEALED folks.  it took her two years after 20 years of pain. she had doctors who wanted to learn from her!

So you'll need some doctor no matter where who is interested in hormone therapies.  blessings

Susan I had a horrible reaction to Estradiol but it was almost instantaneously and not just burning (!!!) but other physical symptoms. Rare of course! I’m thinking of trying Premarin next but scared. I’m going to look into what Nancy just said about a combo...

I’m so sorry you’re in bad shape. It will pass! Hope you get the help you need! 💜

Hi Nancy,  Thank you for being available.  What would we do without you.  I don't even want to think about it.

I have a gyn who did my biopsy and gave me the prescription for Estradiol. I like her but she only recommends the Clob and doesn't believe its an autoimmune disease.  So not so sure I want to go back to her.  I need someone more progressive. I'm afraid another doctor will want to do another biopsy.

Nancy,  I know that cancer is a possibility with LS, do you know anyone on this forum who has gotten it? Is it curable?  What are the symptoms?  My heart is pounding so fast at my new dilemma I may have to take a xanax tonight.

Ahh thanks for reminding me.... but but, you also just said that you liked her as a person - that's hard to find.

How about educating her gently.  By all means read the report that you sent us. There is a letter from an MD to share with our MD's! by an MD who HAS LS. Pretty powerful.

OH and take Pat's experience under advisement. maybe you are reacting to the estradiol.

but should you decide on another doctor they don't need another biopsy.. you can always have your records sent to the "second opinion" doctors office - no prob.

GOSH, Susan... we really gotta do some deep breathing here girl -okay? now let it all out.

NO I don't know of anyone who got Cancer from LS. I dont' know the symptoms...

my suggestion... take LOTs of magnesium and Vitamin B complex for that anxiety level.  Others here may know of other natural aids for over the top worries.   I don't know the herbal solutions very well.

SO, here's the thing about the Big C. IT IS CURABLE. IT is ALSO PREVENTABLE.

I have several friends who gone the entirely natural route to curing breast cancer for instance.  Besides the energetic medicine solutions, It does also require a strong background in spiritual intentionality ( a sense of knowing), whether that is through prayer or otherwise. BUT it is doable. so let it go it's not in your trajectory at this time, Susan.

Several of the autoimmune supplements that I researched mention their ability to prevent/cure cancer. Vitamin D is one of them! That is why I keep harping on this nutrition business, girls.  be blessed the universe is with you! smiles.

Thanks Nancy.  Can you tell me what quantities you are taking of each of the vitamins?  I am buying my vitamins online as I don't trust the drugstore vitamins.  I've been reading up on reputable companies.

I normally handle LS well, but today blew me away with what I saw. Not sure I should at this point use the Clob to get rid of the mess.💗

Hi Nancy, I got the organic turmeric essential oil through Amazon and bought the aloe you suggested locally. I started mixing 2 drops of oil with the aloe but it really burns for a good 45 minutes. Did you have burning when you first started? Thx.

HI Dam - well you know we all have slightly different pH and stages of rawness. I didn't have what I would call "burning" sensation except maybe a bit stingy on the part of my perineum that was an open cut. I just put up with it for two days and then there was no open cut confused... maybe cold that feels like heat? you know how that can be - weird?

Anyway, I do suggest you read back through some recent posts - I forgot who it was who mentioned that it's possible that if you've been taking clob that the aloe might sting a bit for a few days until the clob stops thinning the skin or something...  You could start with just the aloe. I find the aloe "cooling" but another person might interpret the same sensation as hot/stingy.

You'll find what works for your body... hugs

Thanks Nancy, I will start with just the aloe. I was never prescribed Clob but rather mometasone and then downgraded to a compounded hydrocortisone 1% in taro base. Thankfully I have no cuts now just rawness. I have tried many creams, oils and lotions to see what works. Feeling grateful for this forum.

Nancy, thanks for this recommendation that you mentioned to me in person on a different Forum Post! I am really glad you have posted the actual web address for this Forum Thread as I find it impossible to follow what specific people (i.e. yourself, for example) have stated elsewhere in different Forum Thread's (even explaining what I mean is difficult enough!!).

In terms of the 'creams we use' I take it you are including the Steroid Ointments many of us rely on to control and prevent flare-ups and to keep our LS infected skin as healthy as possible? Starlight8 also highlighted this in Protocol she had posted in a reply to dorotha67 and I include a Link for that at the bottom of my message post here for other readers to check out (NOTE: the link should take you direct to Starlight8's reply, but it is possible you may need to scroll-down to see it among the other replies!). As I have said before, it is really difficult to find even essential historic information that have been posted here - but at least you have developed a way of 'circumnavigating' your own essential posts by posting the web page address links! Thanks again Nancy!!

So yes, I too will emphasise this: - a Steroid Ointment will only be effective if: i.) it is of the correct strength to address the severity of the level of LS infection for each individual sufferer ; ii.) it is applied sufficiently frequently enough ; AND iii.) when the Steroid Ointment is applied it should be massaged into the skin so that some movement is induced in the skin to create and then retain elasticity within the infected skin.

More essentially, when skin is at its healthiest it can be made more mobile by gently stretching it further - however, during a flare-up or the skin has splits or tears, then movement will need to be minimal, and I would suggest placing fingers either side of the split or tear (where possible) to actually prevent too much movement of the skin, until the damaged skin becomes healthy once more.
