Hi Im taking prozac 6th week. Still feel anxiety and cant sleep that well. My doctor gave me amvien 10mg . last night was my first night tookit around 10pm woke up at 250 am couldn't go back to sleep after that. I thought it would help me sleep more. Has anyone been there before.

    My gp has given me olanzapine for the high anxiety and the lack of sleep 2.5mg at night but I’m scared to take it, any advice?

      I would say take it. I took heaps of valium on and off over 4 months and was terrified of being an addict. Then because the Prozac stopped my panic I just quit the valium with no issue. Your doc will help you taper off it if you are on it for a long time, but the insomnia will pass and so will the anxiety.

      Benzos are some of the safest drugs around when taken medicinally.

      Your GP is a safe pair of hands and you are safe too.
