An Experiment with Borax

So, I've been in Vietnam now for just over a month. Haven't had any itching, but the white plaque has expanded and looked like a bit more fusing had occured. Panic set in and of course I was trying not to. However, now that we're here, my husband has been able to start doing more research to help me. And he came across some stuff about borax. So we started an experiment 6 days ago. Not using any steroids, but instead each morning and night he's applying to one side a saturated borax solution and the other side a saturated baking soda solution (as we'd read that some people found baking soda helpful). We've been taking photos in order to compare as we progress. As mentioned, we are on day 6 and there is honestly some change! My clitoris which was quite white has returned to pink. And while the whole area still has some white, the pink is really starting to move in more. The biggest changes are on the side with the borax, with some change on the side with the baking soda (but since some of the borax can get rubbed off on that baking soda side we can't say for certain that the baking soda is having a major effect). We are feeling optimistic about this and I will keep everyone posted. During the day I do continue to add vitamin E oil to keep moisturized.

Hi Jeri, for the Saturated Solution, take an amount of water and slowly stir in the Borax until the water won't accept any more and there crystals on the bottom. I usually make about four ounces of water and then pour in some borax slowly. It usually takes me about 20 minutes. The water will be cloudy to start with and then will clear up. The next morning there may be some crystals on the bottom you can just shake it up and apply.
if you are taking a bath I use 1/6 of a cup of Borax .
Hope this helps, but I would encourage you to read this thread from the start, there is a lot of encouraging testimonies, support and information! God bless

Alistar. Just reporting on my progress pH-D Boric Acid vaginal suppositories. To recap my problem I have been suffering with LS for 20 years. Sometimes life has felt unbearable. Always had to wear a flowing skirt and no pants. The use of a cool hairdryer after a shower really helps plus on bad days a small battery fan will always cool. It's been 10 days using the Boric Acid suppositories. The LS has nearly disappeared and the burning is now bearable and at times stopped completely I discovered a gynecologist in Boston USA using Boric suppositories He was having them made for his patients. By chance I found the suppositories on Amazon. I had nothing to lose by trying them. I feel my life has changed for the better. I will continue to use for 21 days. This was the length of time recommended by the gynecologist Then one a week for maintenance. I use at night with pants and a panty liner. My morning routine would be to shower straight away and prepared a warm water bowl with a teaspoon of baking soda to rinse myself. Thank god I found you all I have felt that I was the only person in the world suffering this horrible beast
Thank you thank you
I will report back in a few weeks

that's Really good. There has been a lot of discussion on here about the use of boric acid rather than borax, but as far as i can see they both appear to work the same. Certainly i found the ingedients of an optrex eye wash included boric acid and so did one by baush and long.
I found the capsules listed on Amazon, well done you for trying them..... Hope you continue to improve. Xx

Depends where you live in terms of where you can buy it. Are you in the UK? If so, I believe you have to order it online as it is no longer sold in stores (there are many women from the UK in this post, if you scroll back you'll come across someone rather quick I think). Most places however you will find it in the laundry aisle. Don't let that freak you out though - just remember that there are so many things will dual purposes, like baking soda for example. Do not get boric acid though. You want borax, also knows as: sodium borate,
sodium tetraborate.
Along with using the borax treatment, many, if not all, combine it with some form of oil to help keep the skin hydrated and moisturize. Vitamin E is one option, also coconut oil, emu oil, jojoba oil, there are lots of options. It will really depend on you though. We are all slightly different with this disease.

Hi there, sorry I missed this post. If you haven't already got your answer, I'd probably go with the oil as with a cream, depending on what else is added to it to make the cream, you'll be introducing other ingredients which may cause irritation.
